"How did you know I was here?" a voice came from an alleyway behind us. "I simply used haki", I told her while looking at a window of a faraway house. "So even this couldn't fool you? your reputation is indeed justified. I see princes Vivi is with you, have you come to liberate Alabasta?" Robin asked with a calm tone, but I could clearly hear the panic she tried to hide. "Yes, I came to free Alabasta and kill Crocodile. But I also came here to recruit you.", I surprised everyone. Robin was quiet for a couple of minutes. "And why should I paint an even bigger target on my back?" she asked.{If you're wondering how they are talking, Robin made an eye, ear, and when Luffy caught her, mouth. how is she going to spy on the if she can't hear them}
Normally, you wouldn't dare refuse a yonko. But when she saw I held no ill intent for her she chose to ask me. "I can give you a couple of things. The first thing I can do is simply tell you all about the void century. If you don't believe me I could also just tell you where all the Poneglyphs are, and I can even bring them to you for added comfort. The other thing I can do, and the one I think you'll pick, is I can plan a fun journey where we'll visit every Poneglyph". "..." The void century was the most secret subject in the world, so much so that only a death penalty awaited those who researched it. Me saying I could just hand Robin the information on a platter was the best hook to draw her in.
"...I'll join you. And I pick the last option" Robin answered after some thought. "I knew you would, there's no way you'll be ok with me just telling you all the information you want after all the hardships you went, it wouldn't be a satisfying ending now would it", I said with a smile. "You are right. So what now" Robin asked, "Now? We make a leather bag".

{So I've done some thinking and from now on the chapter, including this part, will be in 3rd person POV. But if Luffy does something like what he did to Kaido I will write it like that. Meaning that Kaido will still be called "Buddy". If you're wondering why it starts from now on it's because when I finally decided to do this the part above was already written and I'm trying to put out a chapter a day so rewriting that whole part would have been dificult}
Footsteps where heard as Crocodile walked from side to side. "Robin should have been back with the report half an hour ago. What could she be doing? Did she betray me?" Crocodile murmured in his base. Suddenly a voice came from behind him. "Yes, actually, you have some good intuition there", Luffy said. "I see, I take it you're here to kill me? considering you snuck in and all". "Yeah, it was a little bothersome to knock out everyone besides you, but it was alright" Luffy answered.
"Hehehe, then you chose the wrong place. We are in a desert country right now, and my power is to turn into, and manipulate, sand. Do you really think you stand a chance?" Crocodile laughed as he started to manipulate sand all around the Straw Hats. "Did you really not learn anything from Whitebeard?", Luffy asked with a somewhat disappointed expression, "*sigh* Buddy, use blast breath"{Buddy, I choose you!}
Buddy, who was floating high above them, caught Luffy's meaning with his observation haki and fired his blast beath at the sand. The places where the blast breath touched the ground, it cut right through it like a hot knife through butter. But what Luffy really wanted was the heat. The heat from Buddy's attack was so high that sand that was many miles from them was turned to glass, affectively crippling Crocodile's power.
"...After your big talk, this is very underwhelming", Zoro stated as he looked at the shiny glass outside. Crocodile was in shock that he was defeated this quickly, not even Whitebeard did it so fast. "If you let me go, I will stop the civil war", Crocodile tried to negotiate now that he knew he couldn't force his way out. "Oh? And how will you do that?" Luffy asked while stretching his arm.
"I was the one that started the civil war, as such I also have plans and evidence that will stop it in case of emergency. Every plan needs a fail-safe after all". Crocodile then explained in great detail as his life was on the line all of his ways to stop the war, and to explain how he would stop those scenarios he explained how he caused them. "So let me go and I'll save Alabasta from this war in the most peaceful way", Crocodile concluded. "Normally I would, but seeing as to how you just confessed your plan to all of Alabasta, I don't think we need to worry about that" Luffy replied. "What?" Crocodile didn't comprehend his current situation. "Yeah, why do you think we took so long to get here that even you started suspecting something? we could have been here way sooner but we needed to hook up some projector Den Den Mushi in all sorts of places to the one Law is currently recording you with".
"So you have been recording me? but I'm known as the hero of Alabasta, why did no one come to help me when we started fighting?" Crocodile asked while trying to buy time, which Luffy recognized but decided to go along with it since Crocodile could not escape. "That's because Law only started recording when I gave him a signal, which was me stretching my arm if you're wondering. Now, there is an angry mob outside the royal palace that wants some answers, let's go give them some shall we?", Luffy said as he knocked out Crocodile with his conquerors haki.
