Chapitre 8: An ugly Victory
"No...no way..." When the enemy soldiers saw the leader of the scythers falling to a soldier they couldn't help but be shocked!
"Hah...hah... that took more effort than I thought it would be." Eizen said while retreating towards Angel and the others.
But just before he could meet with them he was suddenly surrounded by more than 10 scythers!
"Shit!"
Just as Eizen thought that he'd be done for a five shadows suddenly stood infront of him and stopped the advancement of the scythers.
These shadows were the Hitmonlees!
Out of nowhere another Hitmonlee appeared besides Eizen and then patted his shoulder, this was the leader of the Hitmonlees!
When Eizen saw this he just smiled towards him before the leader also engaged in combat.
When the Yuto and the others saw that Eizen escaped they suddenly dashed towards him their face full of happiness.
"Hahahahaha you really outdone yourself this time Eizen!" Said Yuto while patting Eizen's shoulder.
"That was amazing big bro Eizen!" Zane said while stars were im his eyes.
"Yeah Eizen you really had us worried there for a bit!" Said Yuta while smiling.
"Well it looks like this fight should be over soon." Angel said while pointing towards the enemy commander.
When they looked towards were Angel was pointing they were surprised when they saw that the enemy commander was retreating!
"Huh... too bad... it looks like we weren't able to get the enemy commanders head after all." Said Eizen while sighing.
"Hey you shouldn't be too greedy! Said Yuto while hitting Eizen's head."
"Owww!!"
When everyone saw this they just laughed even Angel let out a sigh.
At sunset the enemy soldiers finally retreated and that concludes the battle for the 6th day and it was their Ho-Oh country's victory this time!
After the 3rd and 1st unit managed to push back the enemy attacking the rear of the main army they also joined the battle of the main army.
Although Eizen and the rest of his team were exhausted after the end of the battle they were still thankful that they managed to survive this battle.

That night~
"Whew~ we can finally rest." Eizen said while lying down on the ground and looking at the stars.
When Eizen closed his eyes he noticed that everyone seemed to have quite down and there was a heavy depressing feeling on the air.
Eizen once again opened his eyes and saw that majority of the people here were only looking at the ground without any emotions.
After glancing at the majority of the soldiers Eizen just sighed and thought to himself." Well its only normal for these soldiers to be depressed. It was only a few hours ago that they were still together with their friends and loved ones but now... half of the entire 3rd unit have been killed, not to mention that the severely wounded arent even included in that estimate."
Eizen also glanced at the Hitmonlee corps and saw that only a dozen Hitmonlee are left from the twenty that arrived here this morning. Not to mention that two of the Hitmonlee are severely wounded and looks like that they can only fight after two-three days.
After a while Eizen stood up from where he lie down and went to Yuto and the others.
"Hey guys how you doing?" Said Eizen while sitting beside Angel.
"Not so good, I mean the feeling in our camp is just way too heavy and everyone is silent." Said Yuta while glancing around him.
"You can't blame them Yuta, they lost a lot of comrades during this was, some teams were even wiped out." Yuto said while cleaning his sword.
"It looks like we're pretty lucky to be still complete." Zane said while looking at the bonfire infront of him while smiling.
"Well that's all thanks to Eizen and Angel! We were lucky enough to be grouped together with the two of you!" Yut said while lightly laughing.
Eizen just sighed and then once again lied down on the ground and closed his eyes preparing to take a goodnight sleep.

The next day~
Eizen woke up pretty early and did some sword strokes at the top of a hill. After an hour soldiers from his unit finally started to wake up.
When Eizen saw this he decided to go down the hill and find Yuto and the others to have breakfast.
Just as Eizen was about to go down hill he saw a man riding a dodrio with a spear from his hand approach him.
"Goodmorning commander!" Said Eizen while putting his right hand on his chest as a sign of respect.
When the commander saw this he just nodded and walked pass Eizen.
Just as Eizen was about to walk down the hill the commander suddenly asked him a question.
"What do you think of the battle yesterday?" Asked the commander while looking at the sight of the 3rd unit down the hill.
