Chapitre 106: Chapter 103: Talk between Sisters Last Part
After Elmyra reappears she sat down on the garden bench before flicking her fingers.
In the middle of the two appeared a small round tea-table and upon it a little silver tea-kettle on a standard of the same metal. Dainty cups and saucers of egg-shell were grouped about it; a miniature silver tray held a sugar-dish and a cream-pot and a half-dozen gold-lined souvenir spoons.
After serving herself Jasmine did the same for her Big sister before bringing her tea and sip it.
For a moment silence hung in the air as the two enjoyed their teas before Elmyra raised a question.
"So, little sister what's the matter?"
Jasmine shrugged her shoulders and acted as though everything was fine.
"Rhea, do not play this game with me. I know you better than you think. Something is bothering you and you don't know how to cope with it. You're asking yourself whether you'll do or not. Am I wrong?" Elmyra speculated.
Jasmine couldn't help but praise her Big sister, just by observing her she had more or less guessed what's happening.
"Ah! You're right Big sister." With a sigh, Jasmine confirmed Elmyra's speculation.
"So, who is it?" Elmyra automatically questioned.
"Who what? I dunno what you are implying Big sister." Jasmine said refusing to answer her Big sister's question.
With a smirk, Elmyra said, "Who is the boy you have a hard time deciding whether to start a relationship with or not."
Jasmine's body trembled, she feels chill down her spine not out of fear but because she had forgotten how scary her Big sister deductive ability was.
Sighing she explained "I can't win against you, you're too scary El. Indeed you're right there someone. Sorry, I can't tell you who is it or what he does. All I can say is that I have a hard time deciding whether to accept going out with him or not."
Elmyra was happy because it has been a long time since Jasmine called her 'El'. As far she could remember Jasmine stopped calling her like that after Mikaal's death. Talking about Mikaal, Elmyra can't help but feel nostalgic, shaking her head she decided to tease her little sister.
"Oho! It's one of your students isn't it?"
Jasmine's body shuddered but quickly she hides it and glared at her Big sister. She couldn't say that it's indeed one of her students. Said student was a monster stronger than anything she ever saw or heard about, except the former creator Gods. Jasmine was sure that Kyle is strongest in the current world. Not that her assumption was wrong.
"If you continue, I swear I'll leave. As I said earlier, I don't want to tell you who this person is, you'll know in a due time, trust me." Jasmine says in a seriousness that left Elmyra to stop taking what she said previously as a joke.
"Okay, Okay, I got it. And what it's the problem with this mysterious lover of yours?" Elmyra turned as she asked.
Jasmine pouted, she knew her sister was doing it intentionally, calling Kyle her lover. Something, she was still considering to allow or not.
"He isn't my lover, not yet.''
The last part was said so quietly that nobody could be able to hear it. Well, if it's a normal person that is. Elmyra heard it, she couldn't help but smirk at the lucky man that managed to sway her little sister's heart that stopped feeling anything since that accident.
"I asked you what the problem is? You haven't answered me, Rhea.'' Elmyra renewed her unanswered question.
Jasmine heaved a sigh before explaining,
''The problem is that the man already has somebody he loves and I know this person. He wants to be in relation with me as well, however, I'm afraid that I'll hurt this person if she comes to know that I'm going out with her men when I knew she was going out with him.''
Silence hung in the air for a moment before Elmyra chuckled, ''So, you're afraid to hurt this person hence you're planning to refuse the man am I wrong?"
Jasmine could not answer, Elmyra shook her head and asked "Let me ask you this, did the man ask you to go out with him in secret without the other girl knowing?"
''No, he didn't say that,'' Jasmine answered without hesitation.
Smiling Elmyra continued,
''You already have your answer, the man wants a have a relationship with you. A relationship that everyone will know about, even his first women will know. That's a good thing, I don't see why you're hesitating little sister considering that you seem to have feelings for this man. This man must know how to cope with his women in case they raise a fuss about you being added to the harem. Truly I do not see the problem, it's your happiness we are talking about and it's not like having multiple women is forbidden in the current world. Well, we Elves may frown upon something like that but it was in the past, nowadays even Elves have more than one wife. So, nobody gonna blames you if you choose to start a relationship with an already engaged man you know?"
Jasmine was happy after hearing her Big sister analysis but inwardly she thought 'I wonder what your reaction will be if you know that the man in question is already Nui's man.'
Shaking her head Jasmine cursed her Big sister for implying that there were already a lot of women even when she talked about one. This shows how scary her Big sister's intuition can be.
Elmyra watched her sister struggle internally even with all she said, Jasmine was still hesitating. 'You need a little bit of motivation it seems.'
''Rhea, you're still hesitating. Ah! maybe the woman you're talking about is someone you know or have already hurt one time in the past?" Elmyra asked, not forgetting to observe Jasmine's reaction, and as expected when Jasmine heard the last part she flinched. However, she quickly tried to conceal it, unfortunately, Elmyra had seen it, she chuckled before continuing.
"So, it's the last part however even though it's the case I bet she has already forgiven you, she may not be pleased if she learned that you have some feelings for her man but as a woman, she will understand because I'm sure she is not the man first woman not the last. Besides, she ought to make her man happy, if the latter could become happy by adding you to his harem why not help him even though she is a bit unhappy with it. I guess she can swallow her bitterness and welcome you. So, fight for your happiness, do not flee like a coward like you did last time.''
''What do you mean by like a coward?" Jasmine asked angrily.
Smiling Elmyra says ''It's exactly what you heard, you flee like a coward last time refusing to face your emotions. It was a test and you failed it, you even dragged Mikaal in your foolishness. Have you confront me with your feelings back then and show me how deep they were, I would have shared him with you, however, you fled instead. I knew you loved him but I can't come toward you and say 'hi! let's share him'. I'm not that type of person, you fight for what you want.''
Jasmine was surprised by the revelation, she had never thought that it was a test, instead of confronting her Big sister after witnessing them making love she fled instead.
''Sorry, El. I didn't know and I was foolish, please forgive me.'' Jasmine apologized while lowering her head.
''No need for that, what happened is already in the past. It's good that you decided to move on. I'm truly happy, do not be a coward this time. You must grab your happiness if this man could give you, do not hesitate Rhea. Besides having lost your virginity already and considering the little life that is already growing inside you, you don't have a choice you must become his woman, or are you planning to have your unborn child to become fatherless?" Elmyra asked with a seriousness that left Jasmine speechless. She knew her Big sister's ability to read life, and knowing her she must not be joking.
Touching her flat stomach, Jasmine resolved herself. Looking at her Big sister she smiled and said ''Thank you, Big sister, however, I have something I must do. Bye.''
She stepped across space and vanished afterward leaving Elmyra alone, the latter chuckled and muttered apologetically,
''Sorry, Rhea, that was a lie, but it's a lie necessary for your happiness. So, sorry. Well, not necessarily a complete lie, if you sleep with him today, I'm sure you're going to get pregnant. So, do your best and make it possible Rhea. Something I doubt you'll take the initiative to do.''
Elmyra couldn't know how wrong she was, she was wrong, so wrong that her lie would become a reality soon.
