Chapitre 78: Chapter 75: One Last Conversation Part 1
Under the dark night skies.
In the middle of the forest sat on a chair made of leaves was a girl, she sat there, legs crossed. This girl had beautiful green hair and a pair of beautiful emerald eyes that shined brightly like a gem in the dark night.
Naturally, it was Nui Yydrassil, Crown Princess of Yydrassil Empire, the reincarnated Goddess of Nui, Emea's best friend, and Kyle's woman.
Tonight, she wore a black princess dress and tied a beautiful bow on her head. Strangely, since the day she started going out with Kyle, something changed, in the past, she liked to dress in green color, however now she started dressing in black because her man loved to dress only in black.
Actually, it was quite an amusing thing when you think about what love can make one do.
Love is a profound feeling, it can appear simple or it can appear complex. One can not truly define the true meaning of Love. One doesn't give reason to love and why they love. As long two people enjoy each other companies, that was enough. Love can make one change entirely, this change may result in something good or bad. Love is a strange feeling yet wonderful at the same time.
Suddenly, Nui who was reading a book even in this moonless night turned her head toward a certain direction, she gazed past the treelines and into the dark night, she curled up her lips upward and she mumbled "Finally."
At the moment, not too far from Nui's current location, were two figures moving forward at a high speed. These two figures were dressed in black.
When the two detected the presence of someone they were not expecting, they stopped in their tracks and speed up their steps and rush toward the place where that person they were expecting was.
Soon, they came out and saw Nui sitting on a chair made of leaves, she was smiling. To God like them, there was no difference between day and night, so naturally, they were able to clearly see Nui's action.
"Welcome Old friends, I was waiting for your arrival. Please take a seat." Nui says before with the flick of her fingers, she created two chairs for her two guests.
" Sorry, we won't sit, we have something urgent to care of. Let's talk another, Nui." One of the men dressed in black replies.
"Fufufu! Something to care of? Sorry, that won't be possible and you and I know why. So, don't make me repeat myself or else I won't be polite as I was earlier and I know you both won't want that, I'm wrong?" Nui, say in a less friendly tone.
"Aiy! Grimm let's sit." said the second figure who had not talked since the start.
Grimm was forced to sit hearing what his second had said.
The two sat and remove the black scarf covering their faces.
"Lumis, If I do remember correctly, don't you hate dressing in black?" Nui asked.
Lumis let out a small chuckle before answering "Well, I do. People change depending on the situation. The same goes for you, Dear Nui."
"I guess you are right," Nui replies while letting out a small chuckle.
"Humph! What are you doing here, guarding this place like a dog." Grimm says. Clearly intending to infuriate Nui.
Unfortunately, Nui did not fell for his scheme as she continued speaking without any changes of expression as if she didn't hear him.
Having seen that his little scheme doesn't bring out the desired effect, Grimm snorted before crossing his legs.
"It has been a long time since sat down like this to chat, isn't it?" Nui asked.
"You're right, well there are four missing people here tonight. If those four were present, it will be like we seven sit together to happily chat in the past. Alas, they are not present, things have completely changed." Lumis replies while letting out a sigh.
"You're indeed right. Everything has changed." Nui lamented.
"And whose fault you think is?" Grimm who was silent after his little had failed finally talked.
"I dunno. Care to tell me of whom you are talking about?"
Instead of answering Nui asked Grimm another question.
"Don't play the fool with me. You know of who I'm talking about. Everything became like this because of that damned Mortal. If not for him, we all seven would still happily leaving in our own dimension continuing playing our little game." Grimm shouted furiously, he was clearly furious.
Lumis, on the other hand, did not say anything, however, his face looks bitter, even though he had not said anything, it was clear that he was sharing the same thought as his friend, Grimm.
"Puhahaha"
"Hahahaha"
Nui suddenly burst in laughter, she laughed hard.
Lumis and Grimm looked dumbly at Nui who was grabbing her stomach, dying of laughter.
"What's so funny, Nui?" Grimm asked with his voice turning a little colder, he started emitting divine pressure, this shows how angry he was.
Nui laughed for a while before stopping, then she looked at the fuming Grimm in the eyes, her lips curled up forming a grin.
"You are asking what is funny?"
"Are you an idiot? You must be an idiot if you put the blame on that mortal you hate so much. Tell me what did he do, that makes you think he was at fault?" Nui asked.
"What? Me an idiot? You're the idiot asking me what that damned Mortal has done. Didn't he sow discord between us? He used some chip tricks to win Emea's heart because she is too kind, he slowly worms his way into her heart due to her innate kindness. If not there's no way a mere mortal can make a Goddess fall in love with him, her own creation, our own creation. It's impossible." Grimm roared explaining.
Lumis nodded his head, clearly agreeing with what Grimm had said. There is no way a mere mortal could have made a goddess fall for him without using any dirty tricks.
"What twisted logic. Ptui! I'm ashamed to think that you two are thinking like that. Do you know what love is? Can one truly decide who you are going to fall for? What makes you think that she is not truly in love with him?" Nui asked question after question.
"Bullshit. How can a goddess fall for a mere mortal she has created? Obviously, because this mortal had used some dirty tricks on the goddess when she was a mere mortal as well without her divinity. Their status is heaven apart. " Grimm says.
"What Grimm said is right. I'm sure that you know that's not love, it fake love that the mortal had instilled in her when she was fragile, living as a mortal. It was a fake love. You also have started to fall into his scheme. You must quickly awaken and help us wake-up Emea from her fake love dream. She's our friends after all." Lumis said with a seriousness that left one speechless if you do not know what were his true motives.
"Fufufu, Fake love? Who are you to determine that? Are you perhaps a God of Love. You two don't govern the Law of Love as far as I know. Let's see what the interested party will say when she heard what you two have said."
Nui, say before looking toward a certain direction. Lumis and Grimm's expression turned uglier when they heard what she said.
'Shit' they muttered under their breath.
