Chapitre 7: Fighting Over Her?
"hayy!! The bus is such a lemon" she exclaimed, too tired of waiting for it to be completely healed.
"and you and your idioms" Namjoon retorted back. She smiled at him, knowing that she spat so much idioms for the past years.
Finally, after waiting for millions of years, the bus was now "completely healed" thanks to a student who knows how to deal with problems like this.
The students were knocked down, tired for waiting. They were supposed to store some energy but guess what? They did the opposite, thanks to the bus.
"Guys we're almost there better wake up now." the bus driver reminded everyone. "it's only a stone's throw." he added, impressing Namjoon and the other English majors. He liked the bus driver. He guessed he's an English major.
Meanwhile, the other girls were busy judging Leilein. They were having a storm on a teacup. Some were betting on her.
"Look at that Hoe Leilein. She's really...ugh I can't pick any words that'll match, " Jennie said with a hint of irritation in her voice.
"She even took my Jimin away from me," Rosé pouted.
"soon, they'll be over her when she finishes her residency," Rosé said.
" Why do we bother on harming her? We don't have any benefit," Jihyo said in a shaky yet calm voice. She was scared. Scared that they'll find out the truth.
"So straight to the point. You're now your defending them. You turn your back for her? Don't tell me you will be a traitor." Jennie suspected her from the start. She knew she's gonna betray her, so she never trusted her. She was just basically using her. She thought Jihyo is a lame duck or a cut below her.
"No I'm not. I'm just afraid what will happen to us. What if the boys will screw us, avoid us, maybe hate us or worse report us. They know everything." she replied back, seemingly scared. Sweat started to form on her hands that were shut tightly.
"You also have a point Jihyo but I know that you would never betray us." Lisa butted in.
"Who says I'm betraying my friends? See no one says I'm betraying." Jihyo chuckled nervously and went back to listening to the beat of Boy in Luv.
After their little conflict, the bus stopped. They have arrived. The boys being gentlemen, they let the girls went off first before them and some even helped them to carry their bags.
Jimin woke her up, and after shaking some guts in her, she finally woke up. She felt okay after her sleep. It was a good suggestion to sleep.
"I'm calling now. Okay, let's go out," Jin told them, counting his brothers. Okay, no one's missing.
"take your personal bags. Pass this to Leilein," Namjoon passed the bag to Yoongi.
"pass this to Leilein," Yoongi then passed it to Hoseok.
"Pass this to Leilein," Hoseok said to Taehyung and then Taehyung repeated what he said before Jungkook imitated them and the bag landed to Jimin before he gave it to the owner.
"Thank you," she said to them, blowing a kiss, imitating Jin. Jin laughed at her and called her "my daughter".
Casually, she walked to Baekhyun and the others forgetting Jimin who was looking for her after she went out. Jimin was impatiently waiting for her beside the van. Taehyung could see how impatient he is, it was a strong love, definitely.
"Leilein here" Baekhyun pointed at himself and the others.
"I missed you so much," Kai bumped to her and hugged her but she pushed him jokingly. She was careful, now. She knew that some people are eyeing her every move.
Jimin saw Leilein hugging someone and his blood boiled. That was his Achilles' heels. Jungkook was same with him, for the first time, he cracked a macadamia nut with his bare hands because of it.
Meanwhile, Leilein received a call from her precious brother.
"Hey big bro, what's up?" she said, in a lower tone. She was happy that he called her but her happiness died after listening to him.
"nothing, I'll just inform you that mom's wedding is next month, just three days after your camping which is actually Sunday." he informed her but she could not care about it.
"do I have to tell you that I am not going?" she was angry about this unnecessary thing again.
"I don't want to go too but she's our mom, she found her happiness, at least support her?" he doesn't know what to say to calm her but instead of finding the right things to say, he just added a fuel to the fire.
"what about my happiness? she asked, holding herself back but she lost control.
"did she care for my happiness? No! That's a big no. Girls in my age are living their life while I was stucked in that butthole called 'home'. Dad always allowed me, he encouraged my every single happiness. Now that dad isn't here, my life was torn apart. She didn't even care to help me heal, instead she tried to find another man that could stand and replace dad." she said while sobbing quietly before she ended the call.
She walked back to Jimin and was stomping her feet to the ground. Hoseok asked her, why was she like that. She didn't answered him, it'll make her remember what he said a while ago. Yoongi stopped Hoseok from interfering because it'll make her condition worse. After a while, she finally cooled down. She had an idea for the boys. She called the others to come there and they followed her.
"I knew what were you all thinking a while ago," she blurted out. She secretly knew that they were watching her.
"huh?" the boys were confused.
"I don't think you properly met. These 7 idiots are the so called kings, don't take it literally, in our department. The others are from the other department and they're not here for the meantime. These guys are from my old school. Baekhyun and Sehun will be in my department," she was referring to Daniel and his team who's late.
One by one, they introduced themselves and some boys eased up a little bit, except the two. You know who. The other team shook hands but they refused to, they were still mad, the others didn't know why.
Yoongi suggested that they'll share tents so that each one will be comfortable with the others. Leilein refused to join, she's a girl after all.
She was now cussing at her poor state.
"Leilein don't say that. You are far different from them. First you're intelligent, beautiful, kind, sharing and hot." Luhan reminded her that she's better than them.
"then, I'll help the others. See you later" she avoided the states that they were giving her. They were too much for her. She needed air.
Both Jimin and Jungkook said, "I'll go." at the same time and looked at each other.
"Yeah we'll go sweetie..." he shook his head and corrected himself, "I mean Leilein."
"Wait I'm also going." Sehun raised his hand before Baekhyun pulled it back.
"Leilein please help the others getting their things." Christine, one of her classmates said. She nodded and took some boxes. She asked and raised the box, who owns that box.
"That's mine. Thank you Unnie. Thanks for finding my box." a junior said to her.
"Welcome, Now go... By the way, what's your name?"
"I'm Meil."
"Now go Meil to your tent. Remember our principal told us there are 3 people inside a tent. Hurry!"
She waved a goodbye to her and ran to her tent. She walked to the bus to help others, surprisingly, she saw Jihyo. She talked to her but the other girl was just rolling her eyes, nonstop.
" Help the girls to carry their other bags. Hey, I'm sorry for the other day. You know why,"
She forgave her because she knew the reason. It was like her life depends on those kips. They didn't know, one of them saw them hugged. No other than Lisa.
