Chapitre 41: Enemies-to-lovers

After dropping Diana at the mansion, Maxim drove off to the hospital.

He parked the car in the VIP parking lot and alighted the car.

But before he could enter the hospital, his phone started ringing.

He took out the phone from his pocket and glanced at the caller ID.

A frown settled between his brows when he saw Diana's name flashing on the top.

He answered the call but before he could say anything, he heard something crashing in the background.

His heart thudded without a warning as the spitting image of Diana's paranoia flashed in his mind. In the past few weeks, he has seen how wary she was of her surroundings.

She lost control of her emotions when she thought Ivy broke into the mansion and she continuously kept asking him if the security in Arkell Hills was good enough.
