Chapitre 16: the dragon
"Xiao Long" i gently stroked his head, and she silently, calmed down greatly at my touch... and seemed to silently purr... slowly, i looked at the dragon, it had long black horns, and a mixture of black, and cirmson scales...
thus we were bonded....
Iroh stroked his beard, and was shocked, surprised that the dragon, accepted me as her partner, just like that...
"a fitting partner for the crown prince."
he smiled gently as he looked upon this sight, while everyone else was greatly enthralled that such a sigh was before them...
i looked towards Iroh... "have the men, fed, watered, and ready by tomorrow... we march upon ba sing se... the impenetrable city tommorow at noon. with both our combined legions, nothing shall stop us. from conquoring ba sing se."
a glum expression, appeared on iroh's face... and nodded... off to his duties...
my men immeadiatly integrated with the 200 or so men and women here, creating a grand total of 300 men and women...
as the commanders were discussing the attack plans... i looked upon Xiao Long...
"your nick name, shall be Xi....
the dragon nodded... with inteligent eyes, as she peered towards me, seemingly entranced...
it was as if fate brought us together...
"Little xi, we shall be together for as long as you shall live."
dragons lived a long time, but no where near as long as shall live, for i, am immortal.
i am destined to watch all things wither and die...
such is my fate....
than why am i working so hard to protect my brother and my sister? need you ask?
they are family, beloved family.
after i was done spenting time with little Xi...
i went towards the war tent, where the commanders and advisors were...
they acknowledged my pressence, as i had brougt my legion here intact, and had heard the astonishing reports from my men and women.... their stories aligned, and they were woefully shocked...
and afraid of me, as i could topple their position... specially with my tight management of the troops... it was better than theirs...
Iroe had a look of pride on his face... as i simply said to them...
"i challenge you all to a Duel... should you disregard it, your honor, and your positions shall be forfeited. by my right as Crown prince of this nation."
Zhou Chen my advisor sighed at their fate.. and could barely look their way....
this was the most simple way to gain respect from the new legions...
they looked to each other, and became enraged.... and paled as they felt this was over the top...
however what could they do?
i was royalty!
"we accept."
they followed me outside, while everyone began to make a circle... as we went out onto the parched rough ground....
we weer stripped of our weapons... and wore only our clothes... as were faced each other...
my opponents were 6 in number... Iroe was among them... and he had a smile on his face as he prepared himself... he knew this battle was lost the moment he acted, however, so what? it was his niefew! and these old fogies will learn to respect the new generation.
even if hes just 5 years old.
Zhou Chen... was the one to start it and he shouted "BEGIN!"
immeadiatly they acted as one, releasing streams of fire from their fists and feet.... two of them went to the side, hoping to catch me in a pincer attack...
but they largely underestimated my ability....
engulfing myself in crimson flames, the ground began to melt due to the heat of my flames... as i created a large ring of flames, pulsing in all directions.... the two were send backwards into the crowd... with large burn marks across their chests...
Zhou chen shouted out their names "Aroe Ming, Li TAI, OUT!"
the crowd were starkly shocked, and began to cheer from the fight, it unknown who began to cheer, but the legion, my legion, began to scream my name at some point, during my first move....
"PRINCE KARNA!"

i poised myself, as i looked upon my opponent... Iroe, smiled at this... pride evident on his face...
while the others looked at him, as if he were traitor... they silently, began to a series of combo moves, sending a large series of fire balls my way...
all the while iroe, was breathing in and out deeply, as flames surrounded him... he seemed to be preparing himself for a big move...
seeing this i smiled...
and opened my palm... as i was immersed in my own crimson flames....
manipulating the lava at my feet... i placed up a lava dome, and than sent blobs of lava towards my three opponents...
their old and faces were shocked... and immeadiatly created a kind of defence... with a torrent of flames... dispersing the lava... but i, summoned forth my dragon of flames... and created four of them... sending them in their direction...
unable to stop or block it, they were sent flying into the crowd as well...
this time it was just me and my uncle iroh, who poised himself... and created a massive fireball, sending it my way....
weaving, on the spot... i created crimson lightning, and pierced through it, all the while i followed up with a large serpent of flames... countering the blast, with ease...
than i jumped out of my flames, and ran towards iroh...
we began a series of moves... in close combat... i danced around him, sending a multitude of punches his way, all of witch he blocked with a smile on his face... all with elegant movements, befitting a water tribe expert in close quorters combat... showing his veterency in war... but that didnt stop me... grabbing onto his fist, he went to punch me, and take back his fist however.... i twirled around him, with acrobatic skill, and kicked him in the face, sending him reeling back... than i swirled around him, using his own weight aganst him, and pushed him into the crowd....
while all of this seemed to be long, this happened in a matter of moments...
and than Zhou Chen Announced the names that were out "Li gong, out! Iroe out!-"
he went on to announce the rest of the names.... and had a look of pride on his face....
