"..Well I suppose it's getting late," Bill piped up with a smile after letting you all digest what he told you, "How about I show you guys to some spare rooms for you to stay in for the night."
You all feel in line behind him as he made for the door, Ash and Brock in front of you and Misty, and talking about what kind of pokemon the giant one could have been.
You nudged Misty with your shoulder, "You wanna bunk with me?" you asked lowly and wiggled your eyebrows.
Despite her reaction earlier, Misty gained a bit of a half smile and she shook her bead, "No girl is gonna be safe from you huh?" she mused, raising one fine orange eyebrow.
"Only the gorgeous ones hot stuff," you teased right back, "So you up for it?" you continued, placing a hand lightly around her lovely hips, and you had to admire how toned she was. Probably from a lot of swimming.
Misty reached for your hand and grasped it softly, and just held it for a moment, hesitating, before pulling it off, "I'm sure it'd be a night to remember," Misty teased right back, bumping her hip into yours, "But I'm not into one night stands, and I'm not gonna sleep with you just cuz I'm grateful. If you decide to go for an actual relationship, hit me up then, then we'll see about me giving you that personal demonstration of how much I suck." her fingers ghosted softly over your hand before pulling away and walking ahead a bit, hips swaying.
You stopped in your tracks, eyes locked onto her round ass jiggling softly in those tiny little shorts she wore as she walked ahead with the others. "A relationship, huh?" you mused softly, looking up into the dark cloudy night sky.
Honestly, you'd never really thought about getting in to one. Fucking was fun. You loved the sounds girls made, and the way they felt beneath you. But you were far too focused on your goal of becoming a top trainer and raking in the money to think about an actual relationship, actual romantic feelings.
-A familiar melancholy cry pierced the night, breaking you from your thoughts before you could get too far. And it was loud! All encompassing, it seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere.
There was a crash as Bill who had just opened the door to leave slammed it shut and whirled around, nearly burling over the other three as he raced through them towards the railing, eyes wide.
"Could it be!?" he gasped.
Whirling around yourself, you saw it. A massive, dark shape wading through the ocean, hidden by the fog bank. But that body rounded powerful muscle, those antennae! You'd seen them many a time, both in a textbook, and in person when Professor Oak showed you one of his pokemon.
"Oh my god." you gasped, stumbling back in shock, awe and so many more rushing emotions. The very massive, majestic shadow of it triggered the flight or fight instincts in your body, adrenaline flooding you. Your body shook, "...It's a Dragonite!"
And three hundred feet was a very generous estimate that Bill gave earlier. It was way bigger than that, had to be at least five hundred feet!
"It's here, quickly the signal!" Bill gasped, pulling out another remote from his pocket and pressing it. The lighthouse light went from bright yellow to blue, and a similar, haunting cry began to echo out form the lighthouse itself.
The giant Dragonite visibly perked up, and began wading through the ocean towards you all a bit faster.
"..Look at the size of that thing." Brock murmured.
"How amazing," Misty gushed. "It sounds like it's singing."
"...Yeah." Ash simply nodded in amazement.
You all must have spent a good minute or so just listening, watching in rapt awe as the giant dragon type waded its way towards the lighthouse.
Until-
*BOOM!*
The giant Dragonite cried out in pain as an explosion smashed against its chest, pushing it back a step.
"No!" Bill screamed in shock, eye flying wide, "What's going on, who's attacking!?"
With a roar that shook the heavens, that released a literal shock wave that pushed you back a few feet even with the distance between you and the giant Dragonite, the dragon pokemon released its rage at the cowardly attack upon it.
Boom! Boom!
Another set of explosions rocked its body, but this time, it brushed them off with ease.
Glowing eyes pierced through the fog barrier, locking on to you and the other four atop the lighthouse. And you realized in that instant, it thought you were the one attacking it!
Winding around with speed that belied its massive size, the Dragonite spun on its heel and lashed out with its massive tail towards the lighthouse tower.
"Kookee!" Kingler launched himself through the air before you even realized what was going on, winding up a powerful glowing claw and clashing against the tail.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The air shook, the ocean split even hundreds of feet below from where they clashed. You heard Misty scream and saw the others fall back from the shock wave in your peripheral vision, but Growlithe bounded forward just as you were about to fall and caught you on his back, helping you stay upright.
Your eyes were locked on Kingler.
"KOOKEEEE!" Kingler boomed out, pushing all his might into his Crabhammer attack.
The air shook again, and you saw Dragonite actually get pushed back a bit, rising up on its feet, while Kingler shot back through the air. He won the clash, albeit barely, but at great cost to himself.
"Kingler no!" you screamed, watching your first capture soar up through the air. Your hand went to your pokeball and you thrust it out, trying to recall the giant crustacean pokemon.
