Just as planned, a week later, Terrence and Aubrey's wedding took place. It was another glorious occasion for Elvendel.

Not only was it a wedding between a royal and an outstanding general's family, but it was also the wedding of Elvendel's heir. 

Without fail, everyone looked forward to the child that would be birthed from such a union more than they looked at the one birthed from Astrid. 

The latter was glad to have that attention taken from her as she planned on travelling with Blade and enjoying a blissful time together before she started pushing out heirs.

With congratulations ringing in the air, Astrid felt a sense of relief wash over her.
