[General Character Sheet Mechanics]
(Skills and Spells)
Players and inhabitants of Eldenia learn a spell/skill every 5 levels. Every 10 levels, they gain a racial trait if they are nonhumans or an extra spell/skill if they are humans. Nonhumans will gain at levels 70-80-90-100 prime racial traits that are active abilities or extremely powerful passives related to the race they have chosen. As a result, at level 100, humans will have 30 skills/spells while nonhumans potentially will have around 23-26 depending on their race.
(Stats)
Players and inhabitants of Eldenia both grow their stats at the same pace. For every level they gain, they can allocate 5 stat points to one of 3 preferred stats: STR, AGI, or INT.
STR (Strength) - Modifies health, health regeneration, melee damage, and increases the efficacy of armor and magic resistance.
AGI (Agility) - Increases accuracy (the main modifier for increasing ranged damage), critical hit damage, armor penetration, and evasion.
INT (Insight) - Increases max mana, mana regeneration, critical hit chance, and magic penetration.
(NG+)
Players can go through multiple cycles of the campaign, and each completed cycle grants them 50 extra stat points to use. Each new game+ cycle of the campaign has increased difficulty and new content, so the stat bonuses were seen as a rewarding incentive for players to continue through with the extra challenge. Players can replay the campaign up to seven times, and so in terms of stats, they can gain an additional 350 statpoints.
As a result, though the average level 100 character has 500 stat points, the NG+7 level 100 player has 850.

Spells (So Far Revealed):
Blood Root
Rank: A
A short and mid-range spell where Li summons a root to erupt from his body or the ground to skewer an enemy. It deals relatively low piercing damage. However, if the spell kills an organic type enemy, it drains their blood, crippling regenerative effects and empowering the next usage of the spell. This effect continually stacks, allowing the spell to build up to deal devastating damage.
Tranquility
Rank: A
A melee-range spell where Li infuses a target or himself with dew drops from the Tree of Life itself. These drops manifest as tiny green particulates of energy, and upon contact with the target, they will cleanse all status effects and curses while imparting a massive boost of health. The health restored is split into two ways. The first chunk of health is restored immediately, but the other half is restored gradually through massively enhanced health regeneration, allowing for some countermeasures to prevent the full heal from occurring.
This is one of the higher cost spells that Li has in his arsenal and a staple for him to use in a serious battle.
Oak Fortress
Rank: B+
After a short delay, Li causes a massive wall of giant oak trees to erupt, blocking off line of sight, intercepting projectiles, and forming a barrier that restricts movement. The trees are extremely durable against magical onslaughts, having unnaturally high resistances against magic and statuses such as curse damage and poison. However, they have strong weaknesses to crushing and fire damage. A spell that costs a moderate amount of mana and used to tactically absorb hits or change the terrain of the battlefield.
Shapeshift: Fist of Ymir
Rank: A+
After a short channel, Li changes his arm to that of the primordial giant Ymir. The next attack he unleashes will be a crushing blow with the gargantuan fist that also deals severe frost and burn damage. As a side effect, the attack's impact will leave behind healing waters that will rejuvenate all targets within. The spell, though dealing significant amounts of damage, is somewhat clumsy and easy to dodge against higher leveled characters, not to mention that its channel time can be abused.
Shapeshift: Wings of Simurgh
Rank: A+
After a short channel, Li grows the wings of the legendary bird of life, the Simurgh. In this state, Li gains the status of [Flight], rendering him immune to melee attacks but also causing him massive risk as if he gets grounded, he will be open to consecutive critical hits. The wings provide a massive boost to agility and strength but also drains mana at a significant cost every second it is active. The wings can also be used to fire feathers that can deal either water or fire based damage. It can also shoot feathers that can root targets, though this root is not sufficiently strong enough to significantly hamper strong enemies.
