Chapitre 49: Clash!
Meanwhile at the ruin location,
Just after Gin and others who are all in the Physique Enrichment stage entered the ruin, the Fiend group arrived shocking everyone present outside.
Even the Guardian Faust's expression changed when he noticed the two Fiend Kings along with twelve Fiend generals and 100 some commanders.
Guardian Faust swiftly waved his hand, and the ruin entrance once again sealed itself by the same crystal-like thing.

Not knowing the Fiends has appeared outside the ruin entrance,
Gin and other Physique Cultivators who passed the entrance appeared in a beautiful, vividly colored ancient meadow, filled with multicolored plants—glowing orange poppies and rainbow-colored blossoms.
A view which only gods can enjoy.
Everyone felt like they arrived at a different space, one that gods reside. From the outside, the ruin looked small, but from inside it looked different from what they imagined.
The entire place was illuminated by moonlight but there's no sight of the moon and none can find the source of the light.
Behind them is a foggy area, from which they entered and in front, a towering mountain of 5,000 feet was overlooking them. A steep pathway welcomed them with open arms.
Unlike some who were watching the awe-inspiring landscape with open-mouth, the youngsters from the core regions already began to scale the mountain. Maybe, such a view isn't new for them.
At the base of the mountain, there's a pillar with ancient letters — Ascend the mountain with heaviness, descend with lightness.
Gin read the writing and pondered. Not only him, but others also sensed this text contains a deep meaning.

At the meantime outside of Ruin entrance,
"Bakakaka! Old fogey Faust, are you shocked to see us?" Orfeo snickered.
Aside from Guardian Faust, every human present at the venue looked at 10,000 plus Fiends in fear and horror; Unlike a few minutes before when they portrayed a lofty and superior bearing in front of their juniors.
Just any one of the Fiend commanders is enough to annihilate them, not to speak about Fiend King and Fiend General. So, yes they are terrified of losing their lives.
"No. Litle surprised that even the two Fiend Kings came. Looks like the information we obtained is true, there's something in the ruin your lord badly wants." Guardian Faust spoke and waved his hands.
As soon as he did that, 1000 something figures appeared like a ghost and besieged the Fiends in a circle-shaped formation while Faust also joined in.
There are two groups among the 1000 something figures, based on the way they dressed.
Half of the figures were clothed in the same way as Faust while the other half was covered in a black hooded warrior outfit that obscured their faces.
The most eye-catching peoples among the first group are Faust and other 10 figures who had the same insignia printed—a golden triangle with the blazing sun at its core—on their back.
While the others had—a golden triangle with the waning moon at its core—printed on their back.
There's no doubt, the first group is made up of the Human Union's Sun Guardian and Moon Guardian. Except for the 1st Sun, all the suns and Moons are present.
Even though there's no way of identifying the second human group's appearance, some knowledgable experts discerned their identity with a glance—'Fiend Hunter Alliance'.
They are the true warriors and defenders of the human continent who protect us and hunt the Fiends in shadows; nameless heroes.
All the members of this alliance are monsters who are all on par with Fiends of the same level. War, slaughter, and fearlessness are engraved in their blood and bones.
Not granting any time for the Fiends to respond, the thousand-plus figures took out array plates carved with cryptic inscription symbols and poured their essence energy.
As soon as they did that, the array plates connected with one another, generating an azure radiance that engulfed the entire region.
In the next moment, the azure radiance condensed into a dome-shaped barrier and confined all the Fiends within it.
Everything happened in a split second before the two Fiend Kings could react. Even so, Orfeo and Rath didn't express any panic or in rush to destroy whatever the humans are planning.
It was like both the groups know what the other was planning and would do.
The spectating humans let out a sigh of relief, witnessing the experts imprisoning the Fiends. For example, Beshrin, Zhyho, Protector Jaux and Dean Alfin who was watching everything from a far corner.
To the peoples like them, it was a war between gods and demons while as mortals they were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
If possible, all of them want to flee but they know if they do that, the human union will hunt them to the end of the world.
It's not a crime to run in face of danger, but fleeing at the sight of Fiend without even confronting is a crime worse than death.
The Human union strictly follow this rule!
"Night King, Ghost King, long time no see. I hope you two have a horrible death." An old man in his seventies smilingly greeted.
This old man is none other than the Human union's 2nd sun - Guardian Whitesword, who clashed many times with Night King and Ghost King in his prime.
"Whitesword, Faust, do you think this feeble formation will hold us?" Ghost King calmly spoke, not bothering about Whitesword's way of greeting.
"It's a Rank-3 Formation array which is said to imprison even the Transcendents. So what if you two are Kings who reached a half-step transcendent level? None of you are getting away, today's your death." An arrogant, young moon guardian commented.
"When did such hairless brat has gained the courage to be fearless in face of us? Brat, I remember you. hehehe!" Night king grinned.
"Do you think we came unprepared?" saying this, the Ghost King drew a hexagon-shaped object from his garment.
It fitted perfectly in his palm, emitting a purple-colored glow. The face of Whitesword and Faust changed, both hastily yelled: "Oh no, everyone, empty all your essence energy into the array plates."
The sudden yell perplexed the other human experts. Everyone complied without any question as Whitesword and Faust are the most superior and knowledgable experts amongst them.
Maybe others are ignorant about the object but Whitesword and Faust know very well about it. It's an Array breaking tool, capable of destroying any kind of array at the same level.
If the tool in Ghost King's hand is Rank-3, then their formation array will shatter like glass as soon as he activates it. They can only quietly pray, it's shouldn't be Rank-3 tool.
"Kakaka, Rath, the old fogeys are little afraid now. Why don't we add another blow?" Night King-Orfeo snickered.
"Yes," Rath nodded, "Don't guess, the tool is Rank-3."
Stating that, Rath pressed a small switch present at the center of the array breaking tool. As soon as he pressed, the hexagon-shaped object burst into numerous sparkling purple beams and hit various parts of the dome that confined them.
The purple beams are very precise, hitting all the weak spots of the formation. Within no time, various cracks like that of spiderweb's emerged on the barrier.
'Shit!' All thousand of them cussed at the same time.
Clatter!
The dome-shaped barrier shattered into multicolored light and slowly waned.
"Now!!" Both the Night King–Orfeo and Ghost King–Rath roared.
All the Fiend Generals, Fiend Commanders, and Fiend Soldiers attacked the thousand plus human experts alongside Orfeo and Rath.
Meantime, the Fiend minions who are all in the Physique Enrichment stage dashed towards the Ruin entrance with full force, guarded by some Fiend soldiers.
"Protect the Ruin entrance!" Faust screamed while confronting the Night King, while Whitesword confronted the Ghost king.
The entire place became chaotic as both Human experts and Fiends clashed.
When some of the experts tried to block the Fiend minions who are all rushing towards the ruin entrance, they were hindered by Fiend soldiers who were guarding them.
Suddenly, 100 some human experts arrived from the shadows of a large canyon— carrying reddish orbs, the size of a cricket ball. Without wasting any time, they threw them at the 10,000 some Fiend minions.
Bang!!
Upon contact, the orbs exploded vaporizing everything within a few meter radius; all the fiends within the range simply vanished without any remains, not even the ashes.
Within a few seconds, 2,000 something Fiend minions disappeared from the face of the earth. Meantime, the surviving Fiends stood frozen, not knowing what to do.
"Activate the thing given by our lord!!" Zhyler, a fiend minion shouted while all the Fiend geniuses who led the Minion group of their own did as he said.
Soon, a golden brilliance arose from the Fiend minions and enveloped every fiend present within a 10-meter radius, like that of a water bubble.
'Boom!' Many orbs exploded on contact, but the impact couldn't even scratch the golden bubble, much less injure the fiends within it. Even so, not all the fiends were lucky, as some of the unguarded fiends still died in the end.
After passing the 100 human experts, the surviving fiend minions arrived before the sealed ruin entrance.
