TWENTY-NINE YEARS AGO ...

"What is wrong with you?" Han Suzy asked Hwang Zhendan, she was feeling very frustrated with him.

She quickly glanced at her wall clock and frowned when she saw it was already past 12 am. He was supposed to have arrived at her place 2 hours ago but he was coming now when she had already dozed off.

"To see you." He said sounding slightly irritated before plumping down on her small couch as began to undo his tie which was beginning to choke him. 

"You were supposed to come here by 10. You didn't even take my calls. What is wrong with you? You've been acting really weird lately. I don't even know what to say to you anymore." She said with a sad sigh.

He sighed deeply before covering his face with his hands. She could tell something was wrong with him but her anger wouldn't let her see clearly.

"Something kept me busy." He explained carelessly without looking at her face.
