Chapitre 26: Exploring the Capital
I wake up fairly early in the morning and sit up in me bed. My white hair draping on my shoulders. I slowly, and unwillingly, get out of bed. Going into the bathroom I see a shower which excites me and I immediately jump in and quickly take one. After which I get dressed and change my armor into a white button up blouse, with a short black skirt, black stockings, red belt and a simple pair of flats. Finished with my morning routine I walk down stairs to have breakfast
"Morning Aurelia, you sleep well?" I ask her, my voice oozing drowsiness, looking at her with my purple eyes.
"Sooo well, the bed was the most comfortable thing I've ever slept in. I guess is just that it's better than anything I've slept on in the past month and a half," she replied to me in a much more peppy tone than I'd like this early in the morning. I can never help but notice her beautiful golden eyes, which she received coming to this world.
Reaching downstairs we find Xantos holding a table for us and sit down with him.
"So what would you two like to do out first few days in the capital?" Xantos asked us just before putting some more food in his mouth.
"Well first I'd like too explore the capital a little ,before using all the materials we got while traveling." Finally waking up I answer his question.
After finishing out breakfast Xantos shows us around the city. We went to the auction house and put all out previously enchanted items up in their respective sets. We ate a wide variety of foods from skewers, to of variety of different sandwiches. All fairly simple but delicious, but I like almost anything, so.
After finishing exploring the capital Aurelia I went to the crafters guild, while Xantos and Aurelia went and did their own things. The rest of the day was spent in tanning the pelts I received while traveling. By the time nightfall was about to hit I was able to finish the pelts getting my tanning skill up one level. The next day Aurelia and I spent crafting and enchanting sets of equipment out of the different materials. Changing the enchantments based on the monster the materials came from for maximum effect. By the end of the day we were exhausted but felt accomplished in finishing everything making fifteen fully enchanted sets of equipment from the monsters that had cores. Though this may seem like way to much, it was actually possible under the speed I could work at with my enhanced stats.
Returning to the hotel Aurelia and I returned to the inn and had dinner together. After a quick dinner I went up to my room.
"Hey, mind if I come inside with you?" Aurelia asked me.
"Of course you can, come right in," I answered her. Opening the door and gesturing for her to go in, I had a radiant smile on my face. We both just sat on the bed talking for hours. We talked about our adventures so far, and the crazy chances we have in this new world. Then we talked about the family we missed dearly, and our worries for them. Eventually fatigue overtook me as I fell asleep on the bed.
Unknown to me after I fell asleep Aurelia stayed for a while just looking at me, a peaceful smile on her face. She carefully put me under my sheets, making sure not to wake me up.
"It's kinda cute how oblivious you can be sometimes Winter," she whispered to herself looking at me. "You'll figure it out soon enough, and I'll be waiting when you do."
Saying this she softly kissed me on my forehead, before quietly leaving the room heading towards her own room to get some sleep of her own.
