Emily's eyes widened, her face full of fear.
"No! No! You can't do this to me! I'm still pregnant with the Duke's child! He'll be the little prince of the royal family! You can't do this to him! Your conscience shouldn't allow you to do this to an unborn child and a pregnant woman!"
Duke Eton nodded. "My conscience can't stand for it, but the law can. You've committed a crime, and you will be held responsible. Do you think that just because you're pregnant, the law can't touch you? You can still get a life sentence. Your child will be born in prison, and I'll take them away from you after you give birth."
