Chapitre 8: The birth of a devil.
After having done the same process with the rank 2 bluish monster dragon, the rank 2 split turtle and the rank 2 fire phoenix. 8 gourds now stood in front of an exhausted Ryuk. 4 gourds contained dark colored blood, it resembled Ryuks blood simply because most of the blood within the dog house was demonic beast blood, and another 4 containing a whitish tinted blood. Ryuk then closed each of the gourds injected a little qi to keep them fresh, and dug a hole in the ground and put all the gourds in there. Ryuk then stood up and nearly fell down, he was exhausted. Using the spirit guide had exhausted his qi and his mental power. Although Ryuk had developed a mental sphere the power within it was questionable, additionally he hadn't gone through an awakening ceremony so the mental sphere couldnt produce any mental energy. Ryuk took out the knife he took from Fen Xin. Ryuk in between finding the beasts he needed also stalked some snake packs, every so often a powerful one would die.
Ryuk would use this chance to coat the knife with poison. Ryuk soon found a pack of wolves, they were ordinary wolves, but because of their heads unique pattern they were called star wolves. Ryuk quickly killed them, they were beasts that even rank 5 body refining cultivators could kill so now Ryuk at qi gathering 2 could easily kill. The vitality and qi within the wolves was quickly absorbed and Ryuk was now at peak Condition, he moved back to the river side. He reattached the rocks with the vine and took out the gourds. He sent qi into the demonic and heavenly version of the dragon blood first, the two blots of blood flew up. The blood with Ryuks thoughts flew and hit Ryuks bare back, the blood travelled through some of the meridians on the back and then reached the eastern main Meridian. The two bloods were forced together inside the meridian by Ryuk, an intense repulsion occured in Ryuks Meridian, the two bloods tried to explode upon meeting which nearly destroyed the Meridian, but Ryuk moved them away right before anything could happen, he then made them spin around without touching each other, the two bloods gained extreme momentum, and then Ryuk forced them to collide, a huge power of repulsion formed, but within the two repulsive forces an implosion occured, the repulsive force was absorbed and within a few clicks there remained a small drop of blood, from which an almost mechanical suction occured, Ryuk could feel the qi of the world both Heavenly, demonic and unbiased qi enter, but right as Ryuk was about to relax an explosion occured the blood seemingly couldn't contain itself. Two bloods remained in an almost torn Meridian. Ryuk coughed a mouthful of blood out and was about to take a medicinal pill, when he thought of something. He had failed to make a vortex, but the absorbed blood of beasts and his own knowledge of the technique gave birth to a radical idea. To be honest Ryuk could never have done this technique properly, Fen Xin didnt read this part but to get the best results one needed to dilute the blood, and put in the right proportions of blood, Ryuk was using the pure blood as well as random quantities he was lucky. Ryuks brain raced and the words, 'this technique uses the idea of creating a vortex inside the north, south, east and west pole Meridians, this allows humans to get the same automatic absorbtion ability of beasts, but this ability is not tested, and it is very likely the human body cannot handle the process, so meridian enhancing pills are recommended.' Ryuk realized something the beasts themselves have Meridians and these Meridians are supposed to have the functions hes trying to copy, so what if i made a Meridian using the blood, instead of a vortex. Ryuk focused and brought his spirit guide out, then he focused he using his qi to collect the usable pieces of meridian and then collected the two bloods and then allowed the spirit guide to fuse the two, a small vortex was again created but instead of absorb qi, it devoured the rest of the Meridian and then a dark red blood came out and encircled the vortex, a intense amount of pain was there throughout the process but eventually the pain became normal for Ryuk. After about 4 hours, the barrier broke, and then a bright blue Meridian had been left in the dark bloods place, Ryuk had recreated the meridian using the memories of beasts whos blood was in him, each stitch of meridian and blood had to be exactly like Ryuks memories, Ryuk felt scared many times while recreating his meridian. Ryuk was exhausted again, but the exhaustion quickly went away, in 30 minutes Ryuk felt tip top, the east pole Meridian was working very efficiency. Ryuk then began to work on the other poles.
The process became mechanical and finished faster than with the dragon/east pole, soon only the fourth pole, the north remained, Ryuk had an exhausted mental sphere he felt as if the soul pool inside had been setback many times to focus on the forming of new meridians, Ryuk felt anxious his soul pool is already lacking nourishment its growth might be seriously halted if Ryuk continued, but Ryuk also knew if the four poles weren't balanced he would face problems in his martial path. Ryuk was hesitant and stood still for a long time until he decided to risk everything, he wasnt a special existence except for a spirit guide he had nothing if he didn't take risks he would never be able to climb atop the worlds precipice. Ryuk pushed his concentration to the limit and began to interact with the final pole, first the implosion to the explosion, the powerful and more durable bits of meridian then bind with the black blood. A pain again released but this was too natural to halt Ryuk. He finished in 2 hours. He then focused on his mental sphere inside the soul pool was chaotic, Ryuk concentrated and the black blood came and pierced into the mental sphere, it couldnt breach the mental sphere so it tried again, a small hole was made and the blood entered. Ryuk was thinking of using this strange dark red blood that was produced by the spirit guide as a medium, although combining the two would dilute the quality of the soul pool, until Ryuk could get pills to help his soul pool this was his best choice. The rapid waves slowly slowed down, Ryuk felt an echo in his head, this solution was a temporary one. Ryuk for the first time questioned what the black blood was, 'it couldnt really be the demonic beast blood could it? i mean sure i did absorb alot in the dog house, but this blood is able to interact with my mental sphere, and it seems almost supernatural.' Ryuk then looked at the palm where he had coughed blood, there was a bright red mark remaining, 'When i coughed my blood it was the same color as a humans, so that means this black blood isnt mine but rather the spirit guides... I dont totally understand this spirit guide nor cultivation right now, ill need to take alot of books and research material's when i go back and slaughter that village.' Yes Ryuk was going to slaughter doe village but not for revenge, they were just his sustenanace for his growth.
Ryuk felt a cold feeling in the front of his neck, he touched where it came from and felt something wet splashing out. he looked at his hand and saw blood, he then looked towards what caused this despicable scene, a small crow the size of a palm laid licking its claws, it was a rank 4 Shadow surf crow...
Ryuk fell down he was dying...
The crow moved forward ready to devour its prey and then suddenly large black vines came out and covered Ryuks body, they kept being released from nowhere and covered Ryuk. Finally when the movement stopped all the crow could see was a large convulsing cocoon, but the aura emanated from the cocoon was despicable and almost reminiscent of the crow itself.
