Chapitre 29: Hunter II

I felt like this is taking forever for the tornado to get to the shore, or for whoever this is to attack. They are taking their sweet time. Time that I don't have to waste, because it's precious time I'm not sure that Megan has. I don't think she can be in the water any longer, I'm not sure that she even has any air left. She might already be to far gone and I don't know that I can save her but I can't get into the water. I don't know what I am going to do if she does because I'm not strong enough to save her or because I wasn't fast enough. What would I tell her mom or uncle. Her moms already lost everyone and Megan's the only blood family she has left. I can't even try to get into the water to find her because of this person. I can't stay steady enough to really hold my ground and the wind is getting stronger the closer whoever this is comes. Whatever this person wants they need to either fight me quickly and I need to win fast or they need to get out of my way. I won't be able to save Megan if it stays like it is right now and if I managed to get into the water now while whoever this is still is using there abilities, they will be able to attack me and I won't have anyway of defending myself. I'll be as good as dead which won't be any help to Megan. What's the point of being an elite if you can even protect and save the person that you care about. I can't even be with her openly to the world because she won't be safe and I'm not sure that I can protect her from every elite or mid-tiers that come her way hoping to remover her from my life and put her back in the place society has set for her. If she dies the last thing she experienced is pleasure caused by me, but it was unwanted pleasure and she tried to get me to stop but I wouldn't because I thought she would enjoy it and I wanted to be the first person to give her that. That way no matter what happened she would remember me and something I was able to give her. All of a sudden the wind started dying down and the ground stopped shaking. I could see the water tornado start to become small and die down. I know to much time has past now, when I go into the water to look for Megan I'm going to be looking for a dead body. Whoever this is has started letting down their defense, but they are still heading for land. Once they get closer I'm going to make them pay for getting in my way, I'm going to avenge Megan. The water was almost completely gone as the reach the shallow shore line. I rushed the person going to tackle them into the water as the tornado faded away. I watched the person collapse falling into the water. I don't know exactly what was coming over me. "No you don't get to get away this easy!" I yelled as I dragged the body onto the land, I could make out anything and with my rage it blinded me from actually seeing the person. I flipped the unconscious body over to see the face of the person who had gotten in my way, making it so I couldn't save Megan. I raised my arm ready to punch the person but I stopped. I was looking down at Megans face, I was over her cold but breathing body. I felt her shivering and her eyes opened. They weren't glowing anymore, they were her normal brown eyes. I saw fear in them as she looked into my glowing eyes, she could clearly see the anger that burned in them and the anger that was on my face. I felt her trying to squirm out from underneath me, to get out of my grasp. I punch the ground next to her and she froze instantly.
