RACE:
Sentient Biomass - Symbiote / Clone (Perfect for DC or Marvel or TopCow Universe, less good for other world but can still be interesting)
POWER:
Symbiose: Create a Symbiotic relationship with a living organism, in exchange of nutrients/minerals/etc give an enhanced strength/body function (sense)/power (if the host has one). The symbiose make the Host and Symbiote two being in one, sharing everything from DNA to emotions and giving an enhanced longevity.
Clone: If the Symbiote stayed in symbiose for a long time it can create a similar body to his host (mix of them if he had several previous host) but with a darker shade of skin (or lighter if you want) and hair (mostly brown and black hair or again other if you want) and possessing a degraded version of his previous host power and weakness (if they had one, can be trained to the previous host lvl and higher). The Clone body doesn't becomes older as long as sufficient nutrients and minerals are absorbed.

RACE:
Humanoid/Anthropomorphic Mushroom - ???
INFORMATION:
Mushroom who after being in contact for a long time mutated/transformed/evolved into a new sentient race, mostly found in Swamp and dark forest.
POWER:
Camouflage - hide inside the earth by reducing it's size and form into a normal mushroom (any type).
Fast learning - The ??? don't have organs and muscle giving them an almost perfect control of their body and memory, they just need to see or hear something to learn it almost immediately
Mushroom Body - The ??? don't really have weakness except fire or extreme temperature.
They don't need to sleep and only need to eat plant, water and oxygen to survive

Fullbringer

POWER:
Spiritually-aware Humans born with the eponymous ability Fullbring, which allows them to manipulate the souls that reside in all physical matter, their powers are constituted by Hollow Reiryoku.
Object Affinity (Fullbring): By developing an affinity for a particular object, a Fullbringer can alter its form, granting powers that vary greatly among individuals. This affinity can be defined by one's love for the object in question, or simply by an overall fondness for it. As such, this power is usually awakened through a strong emotion associated with the object, such as pride. Using this affinity, Fullbringers pull out the object's soul and boost it with their own, transforming it in the process.
High-Speed Movement: Fullbringers can induce states of high-speed movement through Fullbring. Such movements are accompanied by the flickering of a green luminescence called Bringer Light. This speed is achieved through a variety of different uses of Fullbring. By pulling on the soul of the ground beneath their feet, Fullbringers can increase its elasticity, greatly enhancing their jumping ability as a result. In addition, by Fullbringing the air around them, they can accelerate their movements. Doing so can consequentially strengthen the force of their blows. The ability to use this technique signifies that one is beginning to master Fullbring.
Power Transference: Fullbring is a product of Hollow power, meaning that it is essentially the opposite of its Human wielders. Because of this, it is possible for Fullbringers to transfer their abilities to individuals whom possess the powers of both Shinigami and Humans – namely Substitute Shinigami. By doing so, Fullbringers can rid themselves of their power, effectively becoming ordinary Humans. In addition to Substitute Shinigami, Fullbringers can trade and share their abilities among themselves. When doing so, they can establish certain boundaries as to how their powers can affect one another, posing voluntary limitations, it is also possible for a Fullbringer to steal the Fullbring of another individual, allowing it to be used to one's own benefit.
This is an interesting race which can be used in many world since they are mostly enhanced human. Very versatile since nothing stop them from having an affinity to two or more object. Many possibility of power, the author can imagine many power ranging from weapon to technique.

RACE:
Togabito - Offenders/Sinners
ORIGIN:
Bleach
PRIMARY POWER:
Various - Togabito seems to have many power but one particularity is that those who previously were hollow seems to have enhanced form of their hollow ability.
Augmented Powers: A Togabito's abilities are considerably more powerful than those of its original form (Human, Hollow or Shinigami) as shown by Shrieker.
Enhanced Speed: The Togabito are seen to utilize a variant of high-speed movement.
Energy Blasts: The Togabito possess a different spiritual energy which Taikon fired from his mouth, he could also devour/absorb spiritual energy.
Energy Shield: The Togabito Kokutō was able to create an energy shield around himself, which is strong enough to block off a very powerful Cero, but leave his chains outside of the shield so the attack can sever them and protect him at the same time.
Corrupted Spiritual Energy: The Togabito are all marked by hell making their spiritual energy purple colored with red sparks.
Togabito similar to Fullbringer have a good potential use in many univers be it for the MC or secondary character/enemy, they can have various ability ranging from simple Fire Manipulation to growing tentacle, anything is possible the only limit being the imagination of the author.

RACE:
Demon Weapon
ORIGIN:
Soul Eater
POWER:
Full-Weapon/Partial-weapon Transformation: Demon Weapons have the inherit ability to transform themselves into either a partial form of a weapon with their body parts or a full-body weapon at will dependent on the training they have undergone. After becoming a weapon, the person is seen in their human form as some sort of reflection on the weapon while a completely blank space is viewed inside the weapon.
Multi-Form Ability: The special trait in which allows a weapon to transform into different forms of weapons and/or inherit their ancestor's weapon forms. This trait is exclusive to that of the special weapons clan Nakatsukasa Clan, whom possess this ability due to being direct descendants of the first demon weapons created by Arachne Gorgon.
Absorb: Due to their making and purpose, only Demon Weapons have the ability to consume the souls of others to empower themselves.
Special Techniques
Soul Resonance: A special technique in which the weapon amplifies the wavelength received by a meister, sends it back, and repeats it until it creates a more powerful wavelength to initiate a special attack.
Soul Possession: A famed technique used by members of the Nakatsukasa Clan (notably those who inherit the Uncanny Sword), soul possession allows for the weapon to possess their meister by and swallow their soul.
An interesting race to use for a MC with a clear path to power.
Orthodox/normal one: eating sinners soul
Demon/devil/evil one: eating non sinners human soul.
Same you can use this race for MC or side-characters/enemy in many univers where strange power exist (BnHA, cultivation novel, etc...)

Parasite Tree
ORIGIN:

POWER:
Parasite - attach seed to the body of creature transforming them into (creatures race)/tree hybrid. It absorb/parasite the equipment of it's victim.
Enhanced body function - Strength, Endurance, sense, etc...
Longevity - The parasite maintain the body function indefinitely until it take over completely creating a humanoid tree.
Fire weakness - As it is a tree it has a huge weakness to fire.
Interesting race for those who want to write story similar to 'I reincarnated as a stick', or simply for monster of a story. (Very good for Fantasy/Apocalypse novel)
