The flower vase shattered into pieces the moment it touched the ground. Next, she swept all the items on the dressing table, sending tremors down the maid, who was standing just outside her room.

Since the moment she had returned home, Amber had locked herself up in her room. Although nobody could see what was happening inside, they could guess from the shattering noises they could hear. The entire house was filled with noises of glass breaking or items falling and, nobody knew what to do.
