Rokurome flew deeply into the dense reddish clouds, its whole silhouette soon blending with it.

Jason heard the computer system warning him. He soon learn that it was the placenta particles trying to seep through the mechanical body of Rokurome, trying to wreak it from Internally.
Fortunately, Toha Heavy Industry built the Guardian Knights to naturally have no gaps between parts, being tightly sealed without showing any openings.
The placenta particles also tried seeping into the various thrusters, but failed because of the special filters that prevented external matters from entering.
Jason was glad that they have already prepared for unexpected situation like this. If not, the current situation would probably have become disastrous — Everyone simply dying as the placenta particles destroys the Guardian Knights from the inside out.
Rokurome managed to finally reach the very depths of the red clouds, Jason now able to see the real surface of the asteroid.

There were simply too many Gaunas that could be seen.
The characteristics of those Gaunas also varied from each others. There were some groups of abominations that were quadrupeds with a gigantic cannon-shaped head.
Jason thought that those dog-like Gaunas were the group's responsible for the earlier abnormally fast beams that caused casualties.
After managing to avoid the high speed beams, the other pilots arrived with their units flying behind Rokurome.

The pilots were baffled upon arriving. It felt like they suddenly entered an otherworldly zoo.
Upon seeing them, the numerous types of Gaunas started to attack them once again.
"Disperse!" Jason hurriedly ordered, thinking the situation was troublesome. Not only were there shooter-type Gaunas attacking them from the distance, there were also warrior-type Gauna closing against them.
As a result, It wasn't a good idea for all of them to stick with each others. That would only make it easier for the enemies to suppress them.
The pilots began to disperse yet a mysterious link still existed between them. They soon began their counterattack while still cooperating seamlessly.
With a proper view on the Gaunas, the pilots were now really not that too afraid to fight.
Rokurome placed the much smaller mass driver behind its back. It then slowly unsheathed the crimson greatsword located on its waist.
"To all units, conserve as much as mass driver's ammunitions you can. We'll need the ammunitions to destroy the linked-type Gauna at the very front of us."
The pilots were hesitant after hearing Jason's command, but in the end, they chose to obediently comply.
On the other hand, the pilots thought this was the perfect chance to use the new Thunder Spear in real combat.
Rokurome lead the front, the rest of the Guardian Knights marching from behind.
Jason spotted many Gaunas, Rokurome's thrusters releasing a huge burst of blueish particles, quickly vanishing from its spot before appearing in front of a Gauna, the sword cannon immediately penetrating the fleshly chest.
A nearby Gauna appeared behind Rokurome, its own head splitting open from many sides like a carnivorous plant, releasing a large amount of energy.
A thing suddenly flickered at Rokurome's waist, a very long and sharp mechanical tail suddenly impaling deeply into the Gaunas head, causing it to immediately explode into bubbles.
Rokurome tilted its head upward, seeing more preys awaiting before it.

Rokurome's sword cannon shone coldly as it flew linearly before consecutively decimating five more Gaunas after revolving around.
Its mechanical tail then floated behind, extending faraway to swiftly impale another nearby Gauna.

Rokurome slammed the sword cannon into the chest of a muscular Gauna. He was met with resistance, but the sword cannon accumulated particles, a large gaping hole soon appearing on the Gauna's chest.
Rokurome's eyes flickered, the mechanical tail slithering forward to impale two shooter-type Gaunas from a distance. It soon retracted while pulling Rokurome along, continuing to decisively hunt more preys.
The official pilots weren't slacking either. Their thunder spears continuesly flashed with blue lightning, allowing them to pierce the Gaunas with ease.
It was like cutting through a melted butter, the thunder spears easily penetrating the robust placenta armour.
As a result, the pilots were certain that the thunder spear was definitely more powerful than the old Kabi Spear.
Nagate was specially immersed with the thunder spear, trying to completely familiarise with it.
Tsugomori Knight wielded the thunder spear exceptionally, managing to kill lots of Gaunas that blocked its way.
Nagate was now breathing tiredly after fighting intensely. He took a moment to relax, but suddenly saw a tiny goblin like Gauna sneaking behind Kunato.
Tsugomori Knight immediately pointed the thunder spear forward. Nagate pressed a button, causing the spear head to suddenly extend swiftly while it was covered with intense blue lightning.
It penetrated the tiny Gauna, causing it to explode into bubbles.
Kunato was clearly surprised, as he didn't noticed the Gauna's presence before.
"You have my gratitude, Tanikaze," Kunato thanked Nagate, before continuing to focus on the battlefield.
"Hmm, this spear is really handy," Nagate smiled.
There were many ways on how to use the thunder spear.
