Chapitre 154: JENNIFER GROANED DUE TO THE WET SENSATION ON HER SKIN
Maybe she sensed something on her lips in her sleep, hence Jennifer moved her head sideways resulting in the water to fall on her cheek.
Emmett had quick reflexes hence he was able to tilt the bottle on time or else the whole water would have been emptied on her.
Jennifer groaned due to the wet sensation on her skin. But she still continued sleeping.
It was actually due to the capsule she had taken after being drugged, that she was deep asleep.
Emmett once again tried and was successful this time. Jennifer drank the water in small sips and dozed off after that.
Emmett smiled looking at her lovely face. He pinched her cheeks lightly, which made Jennifer smack his hand as she continued to sleep.
Emmett chuckled at her silliness and cuteness.
Keeping the bottle back on the bedside table he got back into the duvets and closed his eyes.
But when he was about to doze off in his dream land, he heard Jennifer mutter something.
He once again got near her and heard her asking for water.
At first he patiently fed her water but this continued for whole two hours. He had to get up after every ten minutes to feed her water. Emmett had also being lacking some sleep and he desperately needed some rest but just as he tried to close his eyes, the girl beside him would ask for water.
The capsule had some side effects. Those who consumed it would sleep like a log and need a lot of water to drink.
Jennifer had experienced it before the drug incident. But this time the amount of drug was more compared to the last few times hence she had to consume more capsules resulting in her being unconscious for the whole night.
Emmett nearly dozed off while feeding her water. Her scent was so soothing that was making his eyelids heavy.
It was one time that Emmett had not slept for continuous four days. He hadn't felt tired at that time at all.
All he did was consuming himself into his work. But now the thing was different. There was a beauty in front of him who smelt like milk, which was like a sleeping pill for him. But he couldn't sleep as he had a task to complete. Hence he forced himself to keep his eyes open.
After doing the same thing continuously for two hours he finally got to sleep.
But again after one hour he heard someone speaking. Though it was a whisper he could still hear it due to his excellent hearing ability which he had gained over the years.
He massaged his throbbing temples as he got up to feed Jennifer water.
This again continued till 3am and finally he got time to rest again.
But he was quite wrong. The moment he fell asleep, he felt someone's breathe on his neck.
Emmett opened his eyes and turned to his left to see the girl's pretty face close to his.
She was breathing evenly. Her chest rose and fell as she continued to breathe.
But her closeness had a different affect on Emmett.
Never would have he thought that a person's breathing would make him unable to sleep.
He wondered what was happening to him?
The girl was sleeping peacefully without a care of the world but the man in front of her had long lost his sleep.
