"My family suddenly sold me to these people as they feared my powers. I let them as I could feel their thoughts. To tell you the truth, I was curious about what they wanted from me. But as I came here, they didn't harm me or something, just took a tiny bit blood from me and treated me well so far. But a few hours ago they brought me and other kids here to make a few more tests and I just wanted to play them, to make sure everyone is safe as others were nowhere to be seen." The boy explained and pointed at the nearby room.
Jenny looked at the door and the sound shield was gone. Looking at their clear eyes, they really had nothing to hide, so she was straightforward. "Where are the rest of the kids?"
Her voice was neither threatening nor angry. She just calmly asked, but the doctors felt strange fear creeping up and heir's backs and pointed at one of the doors. "As all kids have special powers, we just wanted to see what caused it. So we just make tests on them. We wouldn't harm them as they are probably the only way for humanity to survive."
Jenny nodded. "Yes. I feel the same. But if they continue being stuffed here and don't use their powers, they might get problems later on. I broke through something that seems higher power. I want to see the difference. Is there a way to test it?"
One of the female scientists stared at her with big shiny eyes and nodded. "I invented something that could show the progress and growth of powers. It is not perfect yet, but if you could test it, we might be able to compare at least."
Jenny nodded and took the boy by the had and moved towards the door.
But as they entered she saw kids playing with their powers while huge computer scanned them and tried to process their data.
The woman stepped next to her and pointed at the boy. "Tarik has the power of the mind and is very playful. So we separated him from the rest just until the computer doesn't gather enough data."
Kendra saw children smiling as they played with their powers. Their complexion was quite good and their clothes were as it seems of their own taste.
Few girls wore just jeans and shirts while two girls had beautiful princess dresses with all the tiaras and shiny stuff.
"They seem to be quite happy." Jenny had to admit that the children were in a good environment. But they still had to learn about the outside world.
"It is good you provide them a happy childhood, but in a world filled with monsters and all kinds of creatures, they should learn how yo use their powers to protect themselves." They could feel her doting, but at the same time worry about their future.
The older woman came forward and smiled at Jenny. "Hello. I'm a teacher here. I teach them how to read, write and to enjoy the books we saved. We do it as we fear they would be overstressed with daily fightings. As there are not many people yet with powers, we can't find the teachers that are willing to explain."
Jenny became silent and started pacing. "Let me think for a moment."
In her mind, she silently started talking to her program. "Is there a book, or program that could help kids learn more about possible evolutions and powers, so they can protect themselves?"
"No. But I can give them programs about their powers and I can improve this tenth-grade scanning computer program. It can show instantly who has what power and how strong."
"Seriously? Why didn't you tell me before?" She could have done this long before.
"You didn't ask." His short answer made her almost start to curse, but she gave up. "Fine. Then help them with the program and add the same program to my RV and the mainframe in the Save Heaven City."
"Good." After his answer, the computer turned off and then on. Programmers, scientists, computer technicians were about to panic when, but they stopped as soon it rebooted.
But now they were perplexed about the new frame that almost surrounded them.
