Chapitre 3: 3 Do You Like Him
On the way of home she was trying to hide her smile and continuously thinking about him.At home her father was asking her "how was the boy. Do you like him.Can we say yes to them."
She don't want to talk to her father much so she said "as you wish. If you find it good than you can do what you want."
Her whole family was very happy of her dicision. His father gives an explanation to her "Anika look, you have two options..first, you say yes to this boy Aditya and your life will become very excited. You can do what you have not done till now. You can enjoy your life much better. Secondly, you can select that boy who's have a government job but he lived in a small village and their house is in very bad condition. And you have to do work in fields also. And for Aditya, you live in big city The Capital of our Country. You can eat in a five star hotel. The dicision is yours."
After listening all this she said to her father " than you can say yes to Aditya ".
Her father was very happy of her dicision and call the neighbour anty to say 'yes' to them on the same night.
She have the same dream of their meeting at the night. Next day, she call her best friend "Pooja" and tell her the whole story. Anika was not believing her father that he gave the permission to meet a boy. When she was studying in high school her classmate told her that according to Anika's family status they will not ask her even for marriage. They will only tell her a date of marriage. She was also thought about this same.
Anika's brother told her that last night Aditya's mom wants to stay him here because it was already late but he said to his mom " if you want to stay here you can. I have lots of work to do so I have to go home tonight." His mother is here today. She don't go with him last night.
When Anika think about her life how was it and how will it be,she was afraid of all this marriage system. She don't want to marry anyone, but this is not her choice. She have to marry someone if she wants any changes in her life.
Her friend Pooja told her " you don't have to worry anything. Just leave this dicision to God . Everyone said that God makes the match for everyone so just leave this to him."
The neighbour anty came at her house everyday and told her mom and grandma something - something about Aditya and his family. But not a single person know why Anika say yes for Aditya. After some days Anika's father, grandfather and her uncle went Delhi to meet Aditya's family and to his father. But Aditya's father don't want to meet them so he was not their. Anita's uncle was very upset of his behaviour and he don't want to marry Anika in this family.But Anika's father convenience him and he said "Do what you want.if you are happy we all are happy."After some days Anika's father search another family for marriage purpose in case if Aditya's family say no to him , he have some extra relation for her marriage.
After 10 days Anika have to go at her uncle's house which was in NCR of Delhi. She was living with them almost 11 years and studied with her cousin brothers. Her uncle asked her "Beta, I was not very happy with this marriage relation but your father said that you are happy with this so, I don't say anything. Are you happy with this relation of marriage?"
She said to her uncle with a heavy heart "I will not say my father that this or another relation is good or bad for me. I will marry where he will fix it. I will not argue with him about this. "
" But this is not right "
"I don't know it's right or wrong. One time, I try to reject one relation and he gave me an hour lecture. He said that 'look at yourself what you are. You are not beautiful, not intelligent , not you are tall enough, you can't even crack one exam from last two years. There is not a prince for you. You have to marry that person which will I select for you.' So after that day I have decided that I will not argue with him. I will accept my life as it will ."
