Chapitre 93: Great idea or awful idea
Lucifer frowned at his mother and was about to complain when Rogue spoke, "That's a great idea! This will allow us time to get to know each other and see if we want to go ahead with the engagement. We don't have to publicly announce it and embarrass both families if the engagement gets cancelled." Rogue was happily grinning, it's great that Lucifer's mother made the suggestion to wait. Now when in the future she said she wanted to end the engagement, his family couldn't go back on their words since it was their idea.
Lucifer glowered at his mother, is she really my mother! Why is she giving Rogue a way out of their engagement? Brett saw his son's annoyance clearly in his face and wanted to laugh at him, this brat looks like he wants to start trouble. Sigh, why can't he see that his mother is trying to help him out by giving him time to woo the girl. "Honey, that's a great idea, this will definitely give the kids time to get to know each other and also protect their careers. I think that with time everything will be settled. We will do this then," Brett smiled as he glanced at everybody.
Ji and Ron looked at each other and smiled, Ron couldn't help himself and annoy Lucifer on purpose, "I like this idea! It gives Poppy a chance to show Lucifer that she's interested in him and allow her admirers a chance to get to know her better." Ron teasingly rubbed his lips as he sexily smiled at Rogue. Ji wanted to laugh at Lucifer when he saw him tightly squeeze his hands so he wouldn't punch Ron. "Fine but I'm sure that my angel will not find a man better than me to be her future husband." He angrily stared at Ji and Ron. Ron grinned at him saucily, he was not impressed with Lucifer's threats at all. Anyway all he cares about is Rogue's opinion and right now she didn't care about her engagement since she didn't want to marry Lucifer. Ji just smiled and grabbed Rogue's small hand and squeezed it reassuringly, "Well since that's settled, Lucifer and Rogue can have their separate lives. They can enjoy being a high school and college student without having to worry about things. Once they debut they're going to be too busy for any relationship and they will need to slowly start hanging out and let their fans get used to it so no scandals are created. Let's take it a step at a time then."
Johan and Kyung looked at each other, "Ji is right. We like this idea, let's take it slow and see what happens in the future. We will put this plan into action, the engagement will be temporarily put on hold and will not be publicly acknowledged. Lucifer we know that its not fair to you in a way but you have to take Rogue's feelings into consideration. You have had years to get used to this news but she just found out recently. We hope you're okay with this."
Lucifer not thrilled about the decision made but he knew he couldn't really make a fuss about it since his traitorous mother was the mastermind and his father completely backed it up. "I understand Mr and Mrs. Holiday, but I'm not too comfortable with it but it's okay. I know my angel is flustered about this so I will make sure to behave during this time. The only thing I ask is to be able to spend some time with Rogue away from the paparazzi, work or school. Can I come over on the weekends and maybe sleepover? I'm sure that you will provide a proper chaperone to supervise us."
