Rogue was flustered and very awkwardly patted Hope's back soothingly. "It's okay auntie Hope. I don't blame you guys for what happened, it's all my uncle and his family fault for keeping me away from the rest of the family. I'm happy and healthy now so please stop crying for me. You're going to make me cry." Brett gently pulled his wife away from Rogue and had her sit down, he handed her a handkerchief and she shakenly wiped her tears away. "Hope, calm down darling. Don't worry Rogue is okay now. She's safely back with her grandparents and Lucifer is here to help her. Lucifer was telling us that she's doing well in school and look at them peacefully getting along."
Lucifer smiles at his parents and loosely puts his arm around Rogue's shoulders, "Mom don't worry about Rogue. She's a very smart, talented and she's very tough. I'll make sure that she will always be safe and cared for, after all she's my future wife and mother of my children." Rogue snorts and elbows Lucifer's side very painfully and whispers to him, "Don't push your luck buddy. I don't have any plans to marry you, so forget about even having kids with you." Rogue takes a step to the side making Lucifer's arm fall off her shoulder. "Uncle Brett, I recently learned that grandmother Meyers passed away, my most sincere condolences to you and your family. I vaguely remember meeting grandmother at Lucifer's birthday party and she was a really lovely woman." Brett sadly smiles, "Thank you sweetheart. Mother was a lovely woman and the day she passed away was the second most heartbreaking moment of my life. I'm sure she would have been here pestering you for weeks if she had been alive. She was very fond of you and Lucifer. She used to joke that the only person who was worthy enough of her little devil was a little angel."
Johan and Kyung watched as Lucifer's parents reminisced with Rogue for a few minutes and they felt that the meeting was going well. "Brett, I hope that you will humor us old folks and agree to join us for an early dinner. I have noticed lately that if I haven't eaten before 5-5:30pm I don't feel well at night." Kyung lovingly patted his hand, "It's not the fact that if you eat early you will feel better the issue is that you always overeat and your stomach then feels bad for a long time afterwards. You need to practice self control and stop eating like you have never eaten tasty food before." Johan frowns and then grins at her, "It's your fault! Your cooking is so delicious that I can't help myself." Kyung smacks his hand and playfully glares at him, "Really!!! From now on I'm not cooking you anymore food, eat whatever our chef's cooking. I'll only cook for Poppy and the boys. Speaking about the boys, Rogue do you know where they are?"
