The East Sea Metropolis was a coastal city in the age of magic, and it was not as clean as the cities on the continent.
The commoners were fishermen, so many fishing boats could be seen.
William and his five companions entered the city and discovered there were muddy pools on the streets. Rotting fish was present everywhere, and the stench was unbearable.
And even though most of the paths were paved with limestone, they were very dirty. Any passers-by would step on the rotting fish scattered on the paths.
There were many piers along the coast, while the land facing the continent was lined with majestic walls.
But these walls were not the final defense line.
The East Sea Metropolis was developing outward at a rapid pace.
The central location of the city was a steep coastal cliff that reached more than a hundred meters in height. A large majestic castle on the cliff acted as the seat of power.
