After the failure to persuade Clara to sign a contract with them to hold her legally, they decided to let the higher ups handle it. 

The more their products sell well and their model is up for grab by their competitor, the more it worries them. 

Clara had just gotten to the company when she got informed that the president of the company wants to meet her.

The director has called the president's attention to the matter, which he promised to sort out by himself.

Clara looked at the man in front of her. "Why?" She asked. 

"He had a few things to discuss with you, miss Welch." The man replied. 

They have many models who are dying to get officially contracted but their effects weren't as profitable as Clara's own.
