This book is basically a shoddy attempt to copy Ye Fei Ye’s (Bringing the Nations Husband...) style of writing. Basically, emotional story of abuse, eventually becoming love, but...there is absolutely no character growth after 100 chapters. The main character is constantly abused both physically and mentally. The author has highlighted her traumatic past life but doesn’t expound upon it, leaving little to no character depth. I, on a common sense level, understand if you were abused in your past life you would carry your scars to present. However the author barely makes use of the backstory presented to elaborate on the main character’s feelings. All we see is what the author tells, that she is controlled. Every time she takes control for herself (or tries to) it’s done in a sloppy, uneventful way. My main example is her attempt to retrieve a certain safety deposit box, she tries to escape to see the contents. Well she should have turned all devices off and gone MIA, so as to not be tracked. Honestly her ‘escape attempt’ was not planned out at all. I blame this on sloppy writing. This part of the story could have been the start of the main characters rise to confidence, to build something for herself. However, it was thrown away and once again she is treated like a dog when our male lead comes to reclaim her. So disappointing. Anyways, I love reading dramatic stories such as this but, I am becoming more and more disappointed at the direction the story is taking. I wish the author to continue on, and hopefully grow as a writer. This is by no means a bad story, quite the opposite. Yet there are many flaws which, if fixed, could lead to a more interesting development.

......This kind of novel is so enjoyable and the best thing about it the mystery in it ....... And wow the characters design is so beautiful especially Addy. He is just too cute and I think that Eloide,his mother, made a great choice when she let Lilly his gardiun.....I think that Alec and Lilly make a great couple and of course parents....... I hope there won't be any thing that may be in their happiness 'road in the future especially that new character, Meileda or whatever her name is....... Although I suspect that she may be Dianna

Fallen in love with this novel. Although I should say that at current point of time in the novel it’s an emotional roller coaster. Author has penned down the emotions so beautifully. Keep up the good work

Just stumbled upon this novel by chance. In the first few chapters I should say that I couldn’t keep up with the timeline. I mean is this a resurrection story or main lead is in a novel?! But I should say that I am pleasantly surprised by the improvement in writing and how the story is progressing. I just hope that Alec doesn’t give up on this lovely family for whatever revenge he is planning. Afraid that Lily will start trusting him and he is going to break her heart and betray her 😒 Please author please change Alec’s mind. And please explain the timelines at least in the comment section as I am still confused. I thought this is medieval era but then you said it’s 21st century but different. So is this a parallel universe? Please give some more background as to why she came here and from where? Overall very good work. Please don’t abandon the novel in between. I ve decided to give all my power stones to you 😍😍

I just want lily to be happy. I hope there's someone fabien can trust to help lily and addy escape from alec and there's nothing alec can do to get them back then he forget his revenge and beg lily to come back to him. Or maybe melinda is actually danielle and she got alec back, making lily to leave them in her own accord but then alec realize he no longer love danielle/melinda. He wants his little family back only to realize he's so damn late. Whatever it is, i love this story and thank you for your updates. It's amazing. Looking forward for more 👍💕

Everything is good but the overbearing part of the ML is a little repetitive. A lot of stories like that though this one is still better than the others. A little inconsistent with the MC because she felt disgusted when Pascal tried to attack her, but she is fine with ML attacking him. Realistically, she would feel bad in both cases. But then again, 'ROMANCE NOVEL' so I guess it's fine.

I love this book! Especially the little toddler, Adrian is soooo cute! The MC is not so stupid that he needs a whole book to see, he has to change and listen to the feelings of the ML. Hope to see how it continues soon!
