Chapitre 209: I wiped her away

The human is dozing on the bed.

Eli exhales and inhales, frustrated and puzzled by this human's reaction. He is used to seeing fear or disgust from humans who know what he is. But this is too strange. Is she one of those fools who fall for looks and forget about how dangerous the other person is? 

He scowls at her. She is lying on her stomach, sleeping with her mouth half-opened. Half of her face is hidden behind her nearly-white hair. What he doesn't understand is why she seems different. Her magic is back to the elementary state. No, it's not even a novice rank. She doesn't even have a foundation. 

It's been a while since he saw her. The only reason why he was interested in finding out about her was because of her extreme dislike toward him. She used to find reasons to investigate him. So, he looked into her and found out that her husband has the same appearance as him. 

Now, her attitude is too different.

Is it because her husband cheated on her?
