Chapitre 4: Voyage tales II pt. I
The story opens up back on the deck of the ship. The arm Wrestling contest has ended and the knights are sitting back drinking and trading stories, when sir Adam joins in. I gotta story for ya he says as he sits down with his legs crossed taking a huge gulp of beer outta the wooden mug. ahhhhh he says wiping his mouth. Who remembers the time the reptilians attacked the kingdom of Obadiah. now that's a memory king Orion says to the crew with his back turned gazing into the sky. that day taught me something he goes on as he turns around and begins to walk towards the group. it taught me that some people like to rule by lying, and deceiving their allies to get ahead.
As the new king of Obadiah, I did not want any bad blood with the other kingdoms, so I went to the surrounding kingdoms to introduce myself and promote my message of peace. I knew the kingdom of Obadiah was well respected and didn't have too many enemies; so I gathered the only knights I had, and we went out to Introduce ourselves to our neighbors. I decided to visit the kingdom of Ogias first.
I remember my father telling me about just how massive his kingdom was. My father would mention how inside the kingdom walls, was 60 cities with hundreds and thousands of residents giant and human.
King Ogias wasn't the average man, he stood 13ft tall and was said to have a 13ft iron bed that was handmade for him. Since he wasn't like the average, he did not age like man either, giants live hundreds of years past humans. King Ogias was 330yrs old and has seen a lot, that's what makes him just, fair and wise king, my father would say about him.
It takes 3 days to reach the kingdom of Ogias from the kingdom of Obadiah. On the third day we reached his domain. Among seeing his kingdom walls, we were breath taken at the size of them, they easily had to be 20ft tall, you have to be a giant to breach these kingdom walls. Suddenly we were greeted by 2 of his guards who were giants as well.
Halt he yells in a deep voice as him and his partner begin to make their way over to Orion and crew, the ground shaking with every step the guards make. Who are ye one asks, and why have you come to this kingdom the other asks as he looks at Orion.
I am Orion the new King of the land of Obadiah, and these are my Royale knights. We've traveled all this way to introduce ourselves to your king. Orion tells the two guards. The two guards look at each other and then open the doors to the kingdom. Here you king Orion one of the guards and I'm sorry for our disrespect at first. No worries Orion says to the guard, you were just doing your sworn duty, now good day to you both he says as he and his Royale knights enter the kingdom of Ogias.
Among entering the kingdom, the crew is taken back at what they see. the Royale knights have never seen giants before up until know. So these are the men of renown sir Adam says looking around at all the giant residents, I've only heard of them in tales, I've never seen one in real life. Me either sir drake says, as he mugs many of the giants. Even their women are massive. I thought they were all wiped out years ago. That's true many did die during a flood years ago, but there's legends about how a few people were able to survive and live on. King Orion says to them as they continue to walk along. So I wonder how to get to the main castle sir Michael asks. That's a good question Adam says to his comrade as he looks around this place is so big and were so small, I feel like ants he says as he dodges from being trampled. Sir Drake gets angered and shoves one of the giants outta the way causing him to fall. Outta my way you big oaf Drake says as he nudges a giants leg causing him to fall.
A giant then kneels down and begins to talk to the group.
Oops I'm sorry, haha didn't see you there,he says to them.as he runs the back of his head, I didn't mean to step on you, It's rare to see humans with in the walls of Ogias. Where are my manners, he then extends an are out. The names Borr. Nice to meet you Borr, I'm Orion King of Obadiah, and these are my noble Royale knights, sir Adam, sir Michael and sir Drake. Borr then bows, it's an honour to me you. So you mentioned that you and your crew was trying to speak with Lord Ogias?
Why yes Adam says to Borr, do you think you can point us in the right direction?
Hahaha I sure can Borr says. Theres a total of 60 cities and 30 towns inside the walls of Ogias and Lord Ogias' castle is in Capital city
Orion and the crew are shocked when they hear the total number of cities. Orion then clears his throat, that's an impressive number of cities. In our prime the kingdom of Obadiah only had 5. So Borr, Orion asks him. Where are we now?
Why…. this is the town of Bashan!! He proudly shouts. one of the first towns in the kingdom of Ogias, here is one of the best marketplaces for the middle and lower class residents. Here you can find foods, clothes, supplies, you name it. Wow king Orion says. Your king must be a great man an I can't wait to speak with him. Oh ye, lord Ogias is a very just king. Hes wise, strong, brave and very wealthy but also very loving. One last thing Borr, could you show us the fastest route to Capital City? Well you can take the main road here, or you can pay and be taken in wagon, I recommend traveling by wagon, its only a 2hr travel.
Thanks for your help Borr, may the days be kind to you,Orion tells him as he and his crew head off to find a wagon to take them.
After locating a travel wagon, Orion pays the fee and him an the crew board and heads towards Capital City.

The wagon suddenly stops, I we're hear, sir Michael says. Just then the driver calls out last stop Capital City. Common fellas Orion says as he hops out, let go meet King Ogias. That was fast sir Drake says as he hops out and begins to stretch. Ye, sir Michael says to Drake as he looks around. Whoa this place is nice. Ye sir Adam says I see why this is Capital City. Look, even the clothes on the giants have changed. Ye, Drake says as he walks up and puts his hand on the shoulder of Sir Adam these must be upper class. I guess we're surrounded by giant nobles and aristocrats now so mind your manners Haha I'll do my best he says to sir Drake. It then cuts to king Orion, hes looking at a directory. Hmm, so were here and King Ogias Place must be there, he says as he points at a gigantic Castle. Hey guys Orion calls to his men, I think I found it. The 3 Royale knights quickly assemble on Orion. You said you located the castle me lord Sir Drake says to Orion. Ye, over there down yonder, it doesn't look too far away. Just look at the size, now that's impressive Adam says. Ye Michael replies I cant wait to see what's inside. Then let's get a move on Orion says to the crew. And the men head towards the palace..
After a brief walk The men arrive in front of the doors of the castle, and the caravan are once again greeted by giant guards, expect these guards were a little different. Their armour was more fine and well crafted way more detailed than the guards standing outside the kingdom walls.
So you must be the travelers from the land of Obadiah? The giant guard asks as he walks over to the group. Why yes we are King Orion says to the giant looking up at him. But how did you know about us he asks him. Hahaha as the giant boldly laughs word travels fast around here, and it's our job. He then salutes Orion, as Royale knights it's our sworn duty to stay on top of all endeavors inside the kingdom of Ogias. The door then opens please enter, lord Ogias is expecting you. Orion and crew enter the castle and the doors shut behind them.
After a little while of roaming the inside of the castle, the gang finally locates king Ogias' chambers. His chambers is a huge room truly fit for a giant King. The ceiling was as high as the room was wide, the interior of the room was decorated with some of the finest rugs, drapes and ornaments one could buy, and Inside Ogias' chamber was a staircase that on top seated lord Ogias giant golden throne where he had a crystal ball used for scrying.
Hahaha so, you finally found me huh king Ogias says. Upon seeing King Ogias the men are stunned. Whoa Michael mutters under his breath, so this is King Ogias? Ay, Adam says as he fixes his eyes on Ogias. Hes so massive how tall do you think he is?
Drake grunts he's easily 15ft tall he replies back under his breath as the men get closer.
King Ogias; I am Orion, he says to him as he stands in front of the throne of king Ogias and bows to Ogias: Son of King Obadiah and the new king of Obadiah. He then turns to introduce his Royale guards; and these are my Royale knights, all take a knee and bow their heads. This Sir Adam the 1st captain of my army, this is my 2nd captain Sir Michael, and lastly this is the sir Drake my 3rd captain. Hahaha it's a pleasure to meet you all he says. Thank you the knights say in unison. I must say king Ogias you have a very impressive kingdom. Ogias laughs hahaha why thank you 1st captain Adam.
Excuse me king Ogias sir Michael asks is that crystal ball how you kept an eye on us? Haha ye, 2nd captain Michael, it's a technique called scrying. It allows one to see beyond sight, it is a very basic but useful magic.
So, king Ogias says as he turns and looks at Orion. You're the son of king Obadiah huh, king Ogias says to Orion, you look just like your father. Orion bows thanking Ogias, Obadiah was as great man, he was very strong and wise; it's a shame that he is no longer with us.
Yes it is, but my father's death will not be in vain, for his legacy will be carried on by me, for the kingdom of Obadiah will be rebuilt and the name will be heard from all Orion tells the king. Haha I see you also inherited your father's tenacity too. So Orion, son of Obadiah and new king of the land of Obadiah; what brings you here to me personal chambers?
For my knights and I have traveled here to just meet and introduce myself. I choose to travel to your kingdom 1st because my father would always tell me about your kingdom and how vast it was. My father would only praise your name when he spoke about you.
I see Ogias says to Orion as he stands up and begins to walk down off his throne towards Orion. You know you and your Royale army are young, but I can see potential in you. Thank you you Ogias Orion says to him. Orion let me ask you, have you traveled to the kingdom of the reptilians yet? No sir Orion tells Ogias, your kingdom was my very first stop. Good he says to Orion as he kneels before him and puts a hand on his shoulder. I want you to listen carefully to me, for outta respect for your father. When visiting the reptilian kingdom be wary of them as well as their king Dracon, for the reptilians are vile creatures and typically hate humans by nature, they don't care about anything except their own kind. The reptilians also are said to worship another god, and do secret rituals to please their deity. They also believe that they are the superior race. Because of this ideology not too many kingdoms Associatie with them. So please be on your toes when traveling there as well as back young king. He tells Orion as he lifts his hand off of his shoulder and stands back up.
King Ogias thank you for your kind words, but if you excuse me, we must be returning back to Obadiah now; I've been away long enough.
Alright, hope you and your caravan make it back home safely, and oh by the way, king Orion your kingdom is in good standing with me.
Thanks again king Ogias and the knights leave back towards Obadiah.
