Chapitre 16: Ch. 1.15 Chinese food
"Are you going to continue your disappearing act?" James questioned the man operating his device.
Kaidan look up before nodding "For now."
"Then your next move?" he inquired. This time, he wants to know all his plan so he can be prepared for anything to happen.
"Miles should be looking for me now, the killer. We will continue our cat and mouse chase, this time, I will be the one chasing."
Miles look at his device when the gadget rings, a anonymous user message him. Opening the text he again come face to face with the hired killer threats.
"MILES.. I'M STILL WAITING FOR THE END OF THE DEAL, ARE YOU GOING TO GIVE IT TO ME OR NOT?"
Miles, learning his lesson, turn a blind eye at the provocation. He is not dumb to track the device again.
"I KNOW A LOT OF YOUR SECRETS, WANT TO HEAR ONE?" the provocation continued making miles log out of the Internet. He will not fall to the man's game again,... The man is sly, always moving. Tracking him would be hard but he is a patient man, sooner or later the man will make a single mistake and when he does, he will be cornered.
Kaidan, lottering at the parking lot of his old residence laugh. miles is really predictable, he doesn't want to do his past mistake. If the man do track the device location, he will know that he is in this building.
Driving out, Kaidan decided to go back home—James's home. The safest place he can hide while he is using someone else identity.
"What do you want to eat? I'll cook" Sending his message to James.
"Anything, I'll eat any anything you make."
Reading the message, Kaidan smiles. He is a lot happier now. he can now see himself after his revenge not in some lonely computer room but with James and possibly their children.
This time, Kaidan realise that he is not really alone. He will have someone to share his life with, someone who he will be growing old. Someone who will love him and care for him when he is gray and crusty.
"Then we will eat chinese then." kaidan replied.
Kaidan, looking at the refrigerator on James house really want to swear. The reason why the man says anything when he ask him is this—their is no food on the ref, nothing! Just a bunch of some frozen peas and a pork all past their expiration date, two litters of mineral water, a bag of orange juice and two six packs of beer.
Looking at the pantry, he really wants cry, Even the pantry is almost empty, no rice spotted, not even a grain. The only pasta is a lasagna.
'how many chips can that man consume for having so much? Or does the man only it chips in his house? What's the use of being rich then?'
Kaidan lamenting his fate, sits in the kitchen bar, a beer and a chips in his hand. 'Chinese! Chinese! Forget it, we will just eat take aways'
While he was thinking, the wristwatch rang on the table. From the other end came a man's low magnetic voice "Did you find food in the house?" Before laughing when he sigh.
"Shut-up!" making the man's laugher become louder. On a nauseating voice full of sweetness kaidan said "Be a dear and do get us some food before going home honeybunch"
"Stop that! What honeybunch? It's nauseating!"
"You're hurting my feelings honeybunch" the man even dare to tease him if he found some food? This is my sweet revenge!
"You want to play a game huh? What food should I get Cutiepie?" James said, lowering his voice.
"I'm eating, don't say such nauseating things, I'll puke."
(A/N= they are making fun of my pen name.. Don't stop me... Don't..stop.. Me.. I'm gonna punch them on the face. Hey, don't let go! They are stronger than me!"
James just laugh when he heard him causing his secretary and PA— holding some folder to take to him— stop in their track. Looking and questioning one another.
Gesturing the two to just put the folders on his table before dismissing them. "What kind of chinese food?" he asked.
"Just get the specialties of the restaurant. You will never go wrong." kaidan informed the man, then continued to drink his beer.
"Okay, I'll have to go now. I'll just call you when I get back."
"Okay bye."
