'Dragon kings' are essentially allowed to do anything they wanted to those that were below them even if they were subjects of another king there are also times when some of them poaching the subjects of another king.
this was one of the ways how they pass their time for being semi-immortals and as for how many dragon kings there were currently 4 that Artemisia's group knew about roaming the world, separated from one another each with their own demented ideas on how to present this world to the dragon god.
And with the sudden arrival of the fifth one AKA "Anub'arak" without any escorts either he was a newly dragon king looking for subjects to poach, or he was being polite and was here to introduce himself to another dragon king.
And the one way to prove it was showing the ability to create a dragon either by blood or by using the material called humans.
Just being cruel to humans won't cut it since there was a time when a sorcerer attempted to trick them.
and the title king wasn't common knowledge, in fact, any person that happens to find out their life ends shortly after as only the king would announce their title and who gave it.
For those that weren't dragons, they would assume that dragon kings are something they would claim and take for themselves which where those beliefs are only half true.
Another fact about dragons is, if the dragon king is male they get free dibs on any female subordinate of another king which many of the said females would quickly oblige as they are quite lewd creatures.
thus the reason why Nephilim's mind short-circuited, both from fear of being taken from her current king and excitement as males of their species make excellent partners in bed and the draconic magic he was emitting was arousing her currently, especially since she has no experience in such matters.
for a brief moment to prevent any chance of her even thinking that he wasn't who he said he was.
Anub'rak's eyes changed it to grey slit eyes and the force of power that was similar to her king coursed through her body as the hungry look he gave her was nothing the other dragon kings he didn't lust for her, he wanted to own her!
The one wanted to completely claim her!
she lightly rubbed her legs together trying to resist that urge... to submit to him, But the Submissiveness of her bloodline was practically forcing her so it didn't take long for this dragon to quickly agree but as she was about to, that urge of her's it stopped so suddenly.
But the light cough of the person in front of her awoken her from the growing conflict in her mind.
"is something wrong?"
It made her a little frustrated due to the constant mood swings she experienced within a few minutes, both glad it was done, and yet annoyed it didn't continue!
the funny thing was... Cu had no intention of claiming her, hell he just wanted to make sure that this woman wouldn't suspect that he wasn't a dragon king!
not realizing he caused a major misunderstanding that he will pay for in multiple ways!
example? how many powerful women actually like him or are after him? and with that said how many will not think kindly for giving the wrong signals again?
(A/N At the minimum, 4 no, five women will more than likely attempt to beat his ass or castrate him, the hints of who they are throughout the chapters.)

I used the memories of the superior dragons to somehow convince this young woman to trick her and make her unable to assume that i was human or sorcerer.
i guess it worked out well when i introduced myself then bathed her with the strange magic that i earned from of recent victims and focused a tenth of my magic into my eyes using what Melgubde managed to share as he served another dragon king before serving Artemisia.
while I was still new to trying to even lay my hands on her yeah I don't have the heart to do such things, as the man that was shown in the memories that Melgubde had of the Burning brethren, this guy would go as far as forcefully change any female he took a fancy in force them to submit, rape them to an inch of their life after they managed to lay a few eggs, he would then eat them once he had them do want he wanted as he was quick to bore.
I tried using the same gaze he had on Nephilim she shuddered, her face flushed and looked as if she needed to use the bathroom since I didn't what to cause an 'accident' i quickly stopped the pressure then asked her while feeling apologetic.
"Is something wrong?"
She stopped squirming before straightening out her outfit her face was still flushed, but the look she gave me was... peculiar, she was frustrated?
maybe due to how much power I put on to her? wait don't tell me I was too late!?
or was it because she liked it and I ended it too soon? PFT yeah right, I doubt anyone would get off with being pressured like that!
but regardless at least now she won't doubt my identity...
so I gave her a light bow before asking her as with a polite smile.
"care to show me around? think of it as an apology for looking at you it such a manner."
upon hearing me say that she reddened a little before nodding quickly like a pecking chicken.
She was panicking for a bit but seeing that I was serious while maintaining my gaze on her she smiled meekly before leading the some light hopping too...
she seemed pretty happy.
so maybe I did the correct thing?

Each and every action that Cu did was something akin to asking the dragon to prove herself to him, not as a toy that he can throw away afterward, nor as a subordinate to serve under him but as a mate...
when a king happened to lower their head and ask them to impress them, show off, or lead the way it is like saying 'i am giving you the chance to court me' and the more polite the king was to a dragon below them the more they favored them.
Mind you this was an old custom of theirs and it hasn't been used in a long time and Nephilim assumes that 'Anub'arak' inherited the memories that all dragon kings gain upon being entitled as such.
The sacred ceremony that dragons respect deeply and should it be interrupted those related to the one attempting it would share the fury as this was the first thing their god had taught them.
