Chapitre 3: Suspense
6 Months later:
It was six months since I was in a relationship. These six months were the happiest six months of my life. These six months gave me peace, happiness, joy, each and everything. This was all given to me by him.
Without him, I was a dead soul hunting for food. Before his entry in my life, there was no one for me, except my Dad. He was my Superhero- Batman, Spiderman and everything. He was my moral support after my Mom left me.
'Yep! After my Mom left me!!!'
I do not know how things changed so fast that I forgot about everything. My sorrows, my tension, my loneliness, everything got changed into joy, happiness and love. From the time he entered my life, I feel like I am in heaven!
Six months have passed since I began dating Jake Anthony. The moments of his proposal are still fresh in my mind. I was so overwhelmed by his proposal that I did not even hesitate to think twice. I was so impressed by his thinking of selection by not choosing Chloe (the cheerleader) but me! (TL note: Lol )

"Havana...ooh na na..

Wait a minute! Why am I so obsessed with this song? Oh! ya .. I forgot .. Actually it's my favourite song, right?
'Holy crap! Why do I always forget things?'
Wow! What a cool breeze.. I missed California a lot.. I legit missed it. I am in my Porsche not actually riding it, but enjoying the ride. So who do you think is riding my car?

Yep! None of the above. Cause the person who is driving my car is none other than my FATHER!!!! Sounds awkward, right? But I am used to this, you know?
It's been years since I am used to this
My dad David Munro is a very funny, creepy, weirdo and a very protective father. I and my Dad are same in personality. We have stalked half of the people in Texas. When people are sweet towards us, we are very sweet. When we are alone, we start doing all sorts of crazy stuff.
'But if we get angry, the fire blazes up by itself!!'
My mom Ellen Munro is totally opposite to us. I am not only like my Dad, but also my Mom. My Mom I the best mom in the world. She is chill, cool, calm and doesn't give a shot to the crazy stuffs, me and my Dad do. She is very pretty and cute. At times I don't know what comes over me that I will be fan girling over her. She has a very soft skin. And that makes me pull her cheeks again and again.
" Eden Darling, what happened? Why are so quiet? Is everything alright?", my Dad asked as I don't keep quiet when I am in the car.
"Yep Dad! I am fine", I said in a very calm voice.
"Hmm...I see.. Then what deep thoughts were you in?
What were you thinking about?
Are you thinking about your official boyfriend?
Have you got one?"
"Dad, stop it! You know that I don't have official boyfriends as such. I do date guys. But only to break their heart. You know right, after the incident of....."
"Yes Darling...I know about it. You don't need to remind me of it again. After that incident, I know that you don't believe in love and you don't trust guys. But now that you're of age, you need to find someone who is suitable for you, who will take care of you, who will love you, and yeah... who will be your driver, so that I can get retired from my duty."
"Dad, I really didn't ask for you to be my driver. I don't even want you to be my driver. And I know that you and mom care for me a lot. But I need space right now, for my brain to think and also seek an opinion from someone."
"Who is that someone?"
"Dad chill! You will know that person when the time comes."
"Fine, as you say. By the way that lady over there, under that tree…"
"Yeah… What happened?"
"Why is she looking so HOT?"
"By the way, that guy who is beside her…"
"Yeah…What happened?"
"Why is he looking so HOT?"
"Hahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahaha…"Me and my dad, both started laughing. Whatever happens I will never leave my parents. They are the best. I cannot imagine my life without them….

"Hey babe! What sup?" said Jake as I was arranging my books in the locker.
"Hi Darling! Nothing, just arranging the books."
"Oh! Then are you free today?"
"Yep! I am."
"Wanna go out tonight?"
"Okay, but where?"
"Somewhere, a special place. Be ready at 8:00pm sharp. I'll come to pick you. Okay?"
"Ok fine. I'll be there."
"Ok then, see you later. Bye, love you."
"Bye, love you."
I wonder where this person is gonna take me. Nowadays I feel something is wrong. I don't know why. I feel like he is ignoring me, not paying attention to what I say and what not. Maybe he had some pressure….Why do I think such nonsense things? Jake loves me and I love him a lot and it's been a year since we are in love...
AT 7:45pm….
I wore a red colored Saturn frock. It was my favorite one. I put a dark red lipstick, a black choker on my neck and wore red heels. I was so engrossed to know where I was going, that I went on texting Jake. But he kept on replying me saying that it is a special place. I hated suspense. Suspense kills me.
I wore a shrug over my frock so that it covers my tattoo. Yes! I had a tattoo, and an original one. It was a tattoo of a feather which was there on my left shoulder from birth. I don't know from where and how was it on my shoulder from birth. I asked my dad so many times about it. But he would only tell me to cover it with something or the other. And that is why I never wear sleeveless.
Ting tong!
Oh! I think its Jake. I went down the hallway and opened the door. It was Jake. But I was awestruck to see a person devilishly handsome than Jake. He was damn hot and sexy. He wore a blue colored suit with a black tie. For a second, I think, I forgot who Jake was!
"Hi Baby! You look soo pretty and hot!" said Jake.
"Thanks Jake!" I hope Jake introduces me to that hottie…
"Oh! How stupid I am. I forgot to introduce you to the person who will be my business partner in future. This is Mr. Olsen, Steffi."
"Oh! Glad to meet you Mr. Olsen."
He extended his hand and said "Glad to meet you too, Steffi."
And I gladly did shake his hand. The touch of his hand was so mesmerizing that it sent an electric shock to each and every part of my body. Oh god!!!! What am I thinking? This is wrong. I shouldn't think like that. I cannot betray Jake. I love him and he loves me a lot.
"Well, he is my dad's friend's son. His dad and my dad are business partners. So, our parents hope that even we will remain business partner in future", said Jake.
"Oh! That's great."
"Well, if you're ready, let's go?" asked Jake.
"Yeah sure." I said.
I locked the door of the house as dad had gone for a business meeting in Texas. I texted him and wow I got the reply from him so soon. It said:
Me:"Dad, I am going out with Jake right now. Just wanted to inform you….. I hope you had your food. If not, do have your food. Eat well, sleep tight. Gdnight... Xoxo..."
Dad: "Oh! Okay Darling. Hope you have a good evening. I'll be returning tomorrow and I will eat my food. Take care Gdnight...xoxo….."
"Steffi, let's go?" Jake asked me.
"Yeah, sure." I said.

I was in the car when I just caught a glimpse of the person whom Jake had introduced me, whoever he was Mr. Olsen or someone else, I didn't care about his name. He was so devilishly handsome that I couldn't take my eyes off him. Oh God, what is happening to me? This is not right. I shouldn't do this. But why can't I take him out of my mind? Why is that I am feeling like he is the magnet and I am the iron over here? Like the iron always attracts the magnet when it's near but, it always tries its best to not get attracted towards it. In the same way I (iron) am feeling like getting attracted to him (magnet) but, trying my best to not to get attracted towards him. He was sitting at the front with Jake's driver and I and Jake were sitting at the back seat.
"Steffi, are you okay?" Jake asked me.
"Uh….mm….yeah…I am fine Jake. What happened?"
"Nothing. Just thought that you were a bit tensed. You sure your fine?"
"Oh yes Jake, I am fine."
We reached the destination by 8:20pm. I got out of the car and saw that I was standing in front of a 5 star hotel. Oh my god! It was Beverly Wilshire hotel… I couldn't believe that Jake brought me here. We entered the hotel in silence. Cause it would be too awkward to speak in front of Mr. Olsen. As we entered, a girl wearing a pink dress came walking toward us. She was really beautiful. For a second I was confused that whether I was a lesbian, because the moment I saw that girl I was so attracted towards her….Oh God! First Mr. Olsen and now this girl. Oh please! Now don't tell me that I am bi-sexual. I thought she came to talk to Jake. But I was surprised that I was wrong. She hadn't come to talk to Jake but...yeah! Mr. Olsen. But why is this lady talking to Mr. Olsen? And why am I so tensed about him? Why can't I get him and the girl out of my mind? Why is it bothering me so much? Oh God! Please help! I wish Eden and Rosette were with me here. Yeah! You must be thinking why Eden and Rosette? Let me tell you:
1. Rosette: For telling me what the hell is going

I am literally confused… I sighed and walked further. We went to the lobby and waited to be taken to our table as Jake had already done the reservation. So sweet of him. The staff led us to our table. As we sat on our table, I grabbed the menu and started ordering FOOD, as I was really hungry. After ordering the food, Jake started laughing at me like hell. I was embarrassed because Jake was laughing so damn loud, that people started staring at us. Darn it! Why the hell he has to laugh so loud. Wait a minute. Is there something on my face? Wait...…. Let me check in the mirror. The mirror is showing my face with nothing on it. Then why the hell is this person laughing at me.
'Ughhgghhghhgghghh............….'
"Jake, can you stop laughing? Please."
"Oh sorry babe! I didn't realize that I was too loud."
'What the hell!!!!!'
First: You laugh at me like hell…
Okay, I'm fine with it.
Second: You laugh so loudly…
I'm embarrassed.
Third: You laugh so loudly, that you don't even
notice that people are staring at you and
you continue laughing…
I want to punch you so hard right
Now!
I finish my food silently without talking to Jake. As I finished my food, I started searching for a washroom. I asked the helping staff and got to know that I had to leave the table and cross the lobby in order to get to the washroom. I saw Jake sigh and understood that he was upset as I had not talked to him since the laughing incident.
I made a move from the table and went to the lobby. And within a second I found out the washroom. As I opened the door of the washroom someone from behind pulled my hand and pushed me to some other room…
