Chapitre 11: chapter 9 Rope
Bonnabell ran into my arms giving me a big hug squeezing me as tight as she can and I really wish I felt relieved but I just keep feeling a foreboding feeling deep in my gut as I hug my only friend and I hate it.
"Bonnabell I'm so glad your ok" i say while hugging her back.
" Kathrine baby I'm surprised you came back , you know what your father is going to when he gets word of your return. " Bonnabell tells me with a sad face.
" I know so I'm going to face my father head on.
he wont hit my face at least." I say trying to make a joke but failing horribly.
" Not even funny " . Bonnabell says with a face in between worried and annoyed.
Me and Bonnabell chat for a while and the whole time I wanted to tell her abt Wyatt but everytime I tried I couldnt get myself to tell her but a part of me also wanted to keep the secret of him for selfish reasons and that nagging feeling something horrible would happen if I did.
" Well Bonn time to face the dragon ". I say acting like I'm dusting off my dress.
" Katherine, I really wish I could protect you from your father ... "
"Bonnabell I know well you would if you was able , but it would in the end get you very hurt or killed ". say interrupting her.
I walk to her door opening it and look back back at my dress maid and my best friend trying to give her a bright brave smile and I walk out her room and straight to my fathers studdy.
As expected my fathers favorite redheaded maid stood outside his study waiting for whenever he would come out of his study.
as I walk closer to her I notice her eyes are shut . did she fall asleep standing up !
Haha if she wasnt so loyal to my father me and her could've been friends and I'd tap her shoulder but I decided not to and I snuck into my father study.
My father was sitting at his desk surrounded by lots of books and papers .
I walk up slowly all the way up to his desk and I clear my throat. ackhmm. My father then jumps a bit in his chair and looks up at me with shock then quickly with anger.
" How did you get in here" ? " And where have you been, you damned Brat! " he yells turning flushed to a huge red tomato.
" Father" .... I try to start but was quickly stopped as my father hopped from his chair and slapped me hard acrossed my face.
Tears form fast in my eyes while my right hand covers where my father just slapped me.
" Your are damned lucky I dont turn you into those whore houses and get a pretty penny for you ". " you maybe born a Nobel women but you dont act like one you just wanna act like a damn little shit and embarrass me "! my father yells so loud causing my ears to hurt.
" Do you have any damn idea who I was setting you up with ! " " we could've had more wealth and gotten more that new electricity out in our house that everyone is getting !" my father is screaming now directly into my face .
And like she reads my dads mind Hanna comes in now awake with rope in her hands and stands next to my father , but what I didn't expect was that instead of a smug face she would normally have when I got in trouble her face was very pail and she appeared to look sick and eyes full of sadness.
