The bullying mostly stopped at Washington Day Academy. The three sixth-graders found it hard to continue bullying when other students praised them. They were often caught off guard by the unusual responses to their bickering, that they eventually grew tired of making fun of others. Still, they were occasionally indifferent, especially Walter.
Chevre tried to befriend the three and invited them to play sports, saying physical activities can keep them healthily occupied. At first, Brian refused to give in, and only Daniel had played basketball with Chevre. However, after several invitations, Brian accepted.
Walter refused to admit that his friends had turned over a new leaf that he became angry with the twins. Just when everyone thought the bullying had stopped, he came charging at Chevre as they were playing basketball at the school's gym.
Thank you for reading!
I'm done with the panic buying of groceries, so hopefully, I can revert to my usual time of publishing chapters tomorrow. Bear with me for now. There has just been too many changes since the implemented community quarantine in our area that it affected our daily routine.
Keep safe everyone!
