Chapitre 110: Team Rocket Again
Somewhere in a dark cave Giovanni had met up with his executives as they were plotting against Liam. Giovanni wanted his revenge and wanted to capture his Mewtwo back, so he came up with a plan to have several people with him in order to exhaust Liam and his Pokemon until they weren't able to battle anymore, giving him the opportunity to take Mewtwo back, kill Liam and grab all of his rare Pokemon that he had with him.
Giovanni knew Liam had a legendary Pokemon after doing some research on what kind of Pokemon Shadow was he discovered it was the legendary guardian of the sea from the Johto region, but this legendary Pokemon was slightly different from what was described in the legends but he didn't care he still wanted a legendary Pokemon in order to achieve his dreams after Liam and Gin Oak had ruined his plans.
Giovanni followed all of Liam's moves as he had someone tailing him on his every move of course Liam knew about that especially after Shadow told him that somebody was following him and it seemed to be someone from Team Rocket. Liam knew Giovanni was still around and he would strike any moment hence the reason why he didn't mind using Mewtwo during the raid and the reason why he was getting stronger.
Liam was able to lose the person tailing him during his training thanks to Shadow and the shadow movement but when he came back to town the guy was tailing him once again so he was just waiting for the day that Giovanni was finally going to show himself. Giovanni had finally gotten word that Liam was going to be making his way to Johto so this was the opportunity that he was waiting for and was about to make his move as he planned ahead.
Giovanni started searching for places that he knew Liam would pass to get to Johto and started setting traps awaiting the day he will be able to finally get his revenge. This made him excited as he called several of his female assistants over in order to please him. Meanwhile Ash and his crew had arrived at New Bark Town and were currently talking with Professor Elm.
They each received Pokemons from Elm, Red received the fire Pokemon Cyndaquil, while Ash received Totodile, and green received a Pokemon egg. They thanked Professor Elm and went underway as they headed to the first gym to start off their new adventure in the Johto region. Gary on the other hand was in a different location as he captured new Pokemon and was going a different route from what everybody else was going.
All Gary had on his mind was feeling weak and was pushing his Pokemon extra harder as remembered his battles with Liam. Gary started to think of weaknesses for his Pokemons and gathering Pokemons that could defeat Liam's Pokemon Shadow. Gary had no clue what Shadows weakness was but he could tell that Shadow was a flying type so he trained his electric type Pokemon and captured a few more in order to combat and repel Liam's Pokemons.
Meanwhile somewhere else Liam had left the Time Town and headed back to Pallet Town to say his goodbyes to Professor Oak and his mom because he didn't know the next time he'll come around again due to being in a different region. Professor Oak gave him a package and message to deliver to Professor Elm after giving him the directions to Johto as Liam was going to use Shadow to fly over there.
On his way there Liam decided to stop by Articuno's Island Seafoam Islands. Articuno was once again excited to see them as they spent one day over there due to the cold they didn't want to stay too long. Liam had asked Articuno if she wanted to come along with them on their adventures and he wanted to become her trainer. Articuno looked at Liam deeply as she couldn't sense any negative energy from him but she didn't want to be tied down to a Pokemon trainer especially since she was a legendary Pokemon.
She said she would think about it as she was growing lonely being on this island and if Shadow could find a good trainer and get stronger with him then Liam seemed trustworthy of being a good trainer for her so she told him to come back in a year and see. Liam got excited at the thought of gaining now another legendary Pokemon but this one would be a seasoned one as he used is Pokedex to check what level Articuno was.
She seemed to be at a level 350, Liam was shocked by the sheer number of levels she had, she seemed to be quite a strong legendary Pokemon and due to the Icy weather on the island it was getting stronger every day. If he could have Articuno by his side he would definitely not fear any organization chasing him like Team Rocket. Liam knew once he got to Johto he would have to deal with Team Rocket once again.
