Chapitre 108: Pokemon Raid 4
Liam's idea was a little crazy, but he felt like it would be a hit or miss. If it hit, it was going to hit hard. He had Mewtwo bring down the protective barrier and used all his strength to use a super-strong psychic attack to push the flying Pokémon away and on top of the enemy's ground troops. By the time Mewtwo was done, he had fallen to his knees as he was tired from moving quite a large amount of Pokémon into one spot as he thought to himself that he needed to get stronger, and still felt like he was weak. He didn't know he was the strongest of Liam's Pokémon. He still required strength after seeing what Liam went through daily.
Shadow charged up while Mewtwo was getting prepared for that attack. Shadow mixed his dark, ice, and devil energy as his aura exploded. Tyranitar on the ground noticed this but had no clue what was going as he started to get scared after seeing all that energy Shadow accumulated. It was more energy than he had ever seen before, so he began to get worried as he started to order all the Pokémon to focus their attacks on Shadow, but it was too late.
Shadow unleashed one of his most powerful moves, sheer cold, and this time, he didn't hold back at all because Liam had given him the okay to go full blast and not worry about killing some of those Pokémon. Once he unleashed his move, it had blasted all the Pokémon that were in the sky as they all froze into a humongous ice block. This surprised Tyranitar as he finally figured out what Shadow was trying to do and told his troops to run away. But it was too late as that humongous ice block of flying Pokémon came crashing down on all the ground troops and crushed them all to a bloody meat paste.
The only ones who survived that attack were Tyranitar and a few ground types who could dig underground and pop up behind Liam and the rest. A few of the other ground type Pokémon were able to escape too as they followed Tyranitar to avenge all their friends that couldn't make it through that devastating attack. Tyranitar was beyond pissed that he had lost all his troops and couldn't wait to teach Liam a lesson. Liam had no clue that Tyranitar had survived, but he saw that Shadow had fainted and fell to the ground, so he had Ditto transform into Alakazam as he used the psychic to slow down his fall and then grab him when he came close enough. He thanked Shadow for his hard work as he returned him to his poke ball.
Mewtwo was also tired from expending so much energy, so he again returned to his poke ball. Just when they were about to celebrate their victory, the ground started shaking as Liam quickly ordered Ditto to teleport them away from the area they were standing at. As soon as they teleported away, Tyranitar had caved in that whole area as he hopped out with some of the ground type Pokémon that survived. When he came out, he noticed that nobody was there. As a result of the anger that he felt, he missed his chance to avenge his troops.
Liam saw that Tyranitar had survived and was shocked by this, but when he saw a few ground Pokémon with him, he understood what had happened. He thought that they probably had dug their way to escape the devastating attack. Liam smiled at Tyranitar and waved at him as he sent Dragonite and Charizard to deal with him. Ditto then transformed into Shadow as he charged towards them. Tyranitar got scared after seeing Shadow, so he ordered a retreat as they dug back into the ground and escaped.
The Chief and his guards started celebrating as they all went to hug Liam and thank him for a job well done.
They returned to town as everybody started celebrating. They had a great feast at night. The whole city was at the Chief's palace as they had a great dinner. The Chief was in the center while Liam was sitting beside him with a girl who had her face covered. The Chief stopped everybody from chatting as he announced that he would be betrothing his daughter to the hero of the town. Liam quickly rejected this as he didn't want to get tied down and be stuck with one woman. The Chief ignored him and told his daughter, who was called Sheila, to unveil herself. When she took off the cloth covering her face, Liam was shocked and amazed by how beautiful she was.
