The next day…
Yun Rong's next plan is to know why she went to that party at the sea. After that, she would go to Macao to see the next place she should have lived in. Then after Macao would be Hong Kong and the last is Shanghai.
Those would be her future destinations and plan, but for now, she would concentrate on the reasons why she was found in the ocean that night.
Inside a restaurant, a gorgeous-looking woman wearing luxury brand clothing and accessories is currently sitting by the window while looking at the menu.
The waiter could not help but steal glances at her while she chooses the food she wanted to order.
She looks at her watch as if she is waiting for someone. Her expression is showing a slight excitement in them.
Meanwhile, in a seat not too far from her, another gorgeous woman is watching her.
This woman is Yun Rong who is wearing a loose dark blue blouse with black leather jeans and dark brown heels boots.
She has been in the restaurant for a while now before the woman enters.
"She is not familiar…" she thought while looking at the woman whom she messaged last night.
She did not want to call her so that the woman would not be wary of her. What she needed is information so she decided to set this time and this place as this restaurant is famous and a public place.
So Yun Rong was able to observe the woman closely.
After 15 minutes have passed, she could tell that the woman is already feeling a bit impatient so she decided to approach her.
When Yun Rong's figure appears beside the set, the woman turned her gaze and upon seeing Yun Rong, her beautiful face immediately showed a happy and surprised expression.
"Li Qin? It's you! I'm glad that you are okay… I heard the news about the yacht sinking. Since you were able to come back, it seems that you have not boarded that man's yacht… I'm really happy that you're okay. I told you before that man is bad news, but still, you insisted on going there." The woman whose name is Lee Wan'er showed true concern on her face which made Yun Rong feels a bit bad.
Sensing that something is wrong, Lee Wan'er suddenly looks at Yun Rong's expression.
"Is something wrong?" she asked while holding and squeezing Yun Rong's hands a little bit.
The warmness of her hands and her sincere expression made Yun Rong feel a bit at ease. So she felt a bit guilty for not remembering such a good friend.
"I… I don't know what to say…" Yun Rong said with a guilty expression.
"You… you seem different. You're not like this before… What's wrong? What happened?... Wait a minute… Are you… are you pregnant?" Lee Wan'er's tone became a bit low when she said the last words.
She did not want to embarrass her friend, so she deliberately whispered.
Yun Rong was a bit taken aback as she did not expect that she would think such a thing. This made her feel a bit flustered.
"Why would I be pregnant?", she asked in her mind, it is impossible.
Suddenly, she was struck with a realization. So she suddenly freed her left hand from Lee Wan'er who showed confusion on her face and asked while cupping her left cheek.
"Am I pregnant?" she suddenly asked.
'Checking… Status is fine…'
'Female body… fertile…'
'Suit owner is fertile, but not pregnant… This is because the owner's hymen is still intact.'
Upon hearing that, Yun Rong heaves a sigh of relief. She knew that she is not a casual girl who would sleep with just anyone. Well, that is what she is thinking anyway.
"Li Qin, are you, okay?" this time Lee Wan'er became really worried as her friend seem to be acting a bit bizarre.
Upon seeing her reaction, Yun Rong could not help but sigh. The two sat at the table while Yun Rong began to explain to her 'friend' what happened to her that day.
When she heard this, the eyes of Lee Wan'er became moist. How could she not feel sad and guilty at the same time? She was the one who gave that invitation card to her friend, and she was the one who introduced Yun Rong to that guy Cao Bi Wan.
It was later that she discovered that Cao Bi Wan actually approached her because of her family's influence. So she feels really guilty when she uncovered all these things. And then when that happened at the sea more than a week ago her heart was almost crushed with guilt. She thought that it was all her fault that her friend Li Qin met that guy.
"I'm sorry, Qin… I did not expect that this would end like this…" Lee Wan'er said with tears in her eyes.
"Sigh… Don't worry too much, okay? Although I lost my memory, at least I was able to find you, right?" Yun Rong said with a smile.
"Tell me… What was I like… before… before I lost my memories…" Yun Rong suddenly asked.
With this question, Lee Wan'er was a bit stumped. She did not know what to say. But upon seeing the changes in her friend, she was actually a bit happy. She knew that if this continues and that her friend did not go back to the way she was before, then her life would turn for the better.
"Hmm… One word… Brazen." Lee Wan'er paused for a few seconds as if thinking of what to say.
One could tell that she is having a hard time thinking of a word that would not hurt or degrade her friend.
When Yun Rong saw her reaction, she was a bit disappointed. She knew what it means when Lee Wan'er took a little time to answer her. She knew that if she is really Li Qin, then she could not forgive herself for doing those things that she did before.
However, she has her own reservation from what her suit has just told her.
"A bitch… right?" Yun Rong said with one of her brows raised.
Lee Wan'er turned silent. Well, she would not deny what her friend said is true. Although her parents have always told her to choose her friends and that Li Qin was not a good friend. She thought that they are judging her because they did not know her.
So Lee Wan'er persisted to be friends with Li Qin. But as the two became closer, she knew that the woman is free-spirited. She would go out partying and go home drunk. She would sometimes sleep with guys and those guys would always chase after her the next day like love-struck fools and would be shamed by her.
So those in her circle knew that Li Qin is an easy woman as long as you can get her attention.
But right now, she is seeing a different side of her. It was as if this Li Qin is a different person.
After hearing these words from Lee Wan'er, Yun Rong knew that there is really something wrong. As the two began talking about her past, she suddenly starts to piece together who this Li Qin really is and how she lives. But what she could not get her mind into is how was she involved in this dangerous game? How come she has different names and identities?
Yun Rong did not want to think about this thing right now as she herself is actually in a dilemma. She is being hunted by the black market and she needed to deal with them first before continuing with the business of Li Qing. But still, she needs to deal with this as soon as possible.
"Hmm... Well, not really... But... yeah... Hehe... Anyway, now it's different. How should I say this... You really seem... different. I mean, you're not acting like your usual self. I did not know that amnesia could have such an effect." Lee Wan'er said with a slight hesitation in her eyes.
Yun Rong did not say anything as she has already discovered that the identity of Li Qin, and hers might be different.
There are many questions that linger in her mind right now.
One of them is the question of her virginity. If she really likes to sleep with random guys, then why is it that her hymen is still intact? For this question, there are a couple of answers that enters her mind.
One of the possible answers is that she really did not sleep with any of those guys and uses her martial arts prowess to knock them down.
That would be a viable answer, and after that those guys just woke up with her lying beside them.
The second is something that would give her more headaches... and that is, she is not Li Qin.
Suddenly an idea came to her mind.
"I need to test the DNA of Li Qin and mine... But how could I get my hands on a sample?" she thought.
Yun Rong looks at Lee Wan'er and then strokes the hair to the side of her ears.
"Hmm... I don't know, maybe... Maybe amnesia truly changes people..." she said with a smile.
"A big change actually. Hihi..." Lee Wan'er laughed as she looks outside the window.
"So what do you plan to do now?" Lee Wan'er asked as she shifted her gaze back to Yun Rong.
"Hmm... I don't know... Maybe... Try to recover my memories back?..." Yun Rong replied with a shrug.
"Umm... May I suggest something."
"Yeah, what is it?"
"Why not go on to live a new life... I mean, instead of looking for your past, why not look forwards to your future, or even accept the present and live a full life?" Lee Wan'er suggested with a smile.
"Hmm... That is not a bad suggestion... Maybe I will..." Yun Rong said with a smile.
Yun Rong actually thought about it. Ever since talking to the young woman in front of her, though she is not familiar with her, she could feel her sincerity. She could tell that this woman in front of her is trying to help her.
When she told her to live her current life and not think about the past, Yun Rong suddenly has an idea of following such a suggestion as if her other plans have been overwritten by a new one which is full of hope and a promising future.
However, right now, she needs to do some unfinished business. Since her past is a bit clouded and it seems like it is full of danger, she decided to eliminate one of the dangers that are currently lurking behind her.
As she has already made up her mind to deal with the black market people, she decided that that would be her first move to start her new life, away from her past.
And the first thing she needed to do, is to find that Manager Jung and make him stop hunting her. If it means that she needed to take his life for her to live a new life, then she would.
