Today's Lesson: John 18:28-19:16
* Jesus Before Pilate
- Explain Jesus' response in 18:36-37. What is the difference between His kingdom and this world's kingdom?
- How would you answer Pilate's question, "what is the truth?"
- How would you describe Pilate's leadership and authority? How is he different from the way Jesus demonstrated leadership and authority?

Answers:
1. He said his kingdom is not of this world. If the kingdom is of this world, his servants would fight against the Jews in order to save him.
2. I might explain to him what is my perception or meaning to the fact of what is truth. Or could specify the definition of what is truth.
3. Pilate is educated in Rome. His learnings and experiences is different from the knowledge coming from the Jews.
4. The verse that made an impact for me today is, John 18:36, ""My kingdom is not of this world," said Jesus. "If My kingdom were of this world, My servants[c] would fight, so that I wouldn't be handed over to the Jews. As it is, My kingdom does not have its origin here.""
