"But, I suspect that Mars Wu is an accomplice," the officer said.

"I can guarantee that he is not an accomplice, now let him go," the Captain replied firmly.

The officer nodded his head with respect and went to open the door even though he didn't want to. Who was this little legal assistant? Why would the Captain personally come down to get him released? Did he have another identity? Were they working together?

"You can go," he said as he looked at Halia uncomfortably.

Halia looked towards the door and noticed Captain Tang standing outside. The man gave her a wink and she quickly got up.

"I told you to get Captain Tang ages ago. We wouldn't have wasted so much time if you listened to me from the start," Halia frowned as she walked out.

The officer lowered his head and stepped back. But, he snuck a glance at Halia as she walked out. Mars Wu: was he a snitch or a spy?
