Chapitre 7: Who's Mona?
'Ericson? Is it a girl's name? Did her parents mistaken her as a baby boy before that's why they gave her a boy's name? It can't be that he is a boy right? She has a pretty face for such a man.' Patty was lost at her thoughts when the guy she's thingking of caught her attention.
"Ahem. I'm a 100% male. If you were still doubting about it, I can prove it." Ericson said with blinking his eyes. His full attention was on the girl beside Tyler,his friend. The mole under her left eye makes her more attractive.
Patty blush at the moment he said that. She should get angry because he sounded so shameless that he can prove he was a guy but on the second thought, it was her fault for looking at him with disbelief that made him said that. "Pardom me mr. Ericson. It's just that, you have a pretty face that made me thought your a girl"
"It's okey, I don't mind it. Everyone I met said that I should be a girl instead of a guy. haha. Can't blame them." he said with shrugging of his shoulders.
Trixie on the other hand quietly sat and take her snack seriously. She doesn't want to interfere into her bestfried's matter. She just took glances from time to time to her seatmate and to Tyler. Wearing a plain blue cap and an indigo t-shirt makes Tyler more handsome while this Ericson looks feminine with his light pink plain T-shirt. 'No wonder Patty mistook him as a girl.'she thought. And to add on her observation, Ericson looked at Patty with affection, 'hehe looks like another guy will be added to "the friendzone of Patricia Wright" list'
"Miss Mona, are you also a tourist here?"Tyler asked.
"Who's Mona?", she subconsciously asked.
Trixie rolled her eyes and glare at Patty 'Where was the no.1 at academic in our class went?'
"You said your name was Mona."
"ahh! hehe yeah my name is Mona." Patty scratch her right cheek with her right point finger in embarrassment. 'I forgot I am wearing a wig and make up. So stupid Patty!'
"Yes my bestfriend and I are tourists. We are here for two days. how about you mr. Tyler?" answered Patty with his first question. This is her chance to get close to him. To know why was he here.
"Ericson lives here for almost 3years so I paid him a visit. He said it's the city's festival so it was a great time to visit the city." as he was talking, Patty's eyes was filled with amusement while looking at him. She still can't believed that her crush was chatting with her.
"I'll take you to other tourists spot here. There's a place where you can ride a horse." Ericson suggested.
They chat for an hour then Ericson asked Patty's mobile number so they can contact for tomorrow after the float parade. And they parted ways.
Trixie insisted to go to the park and have some photos before going back to the hotel.
