Chapitre 37: Chapter 37
As Akira came back to his house, he looked around and found that it was a big mansion with a large plot of land full of greenery around it.
He entered and found that there was multiple empty rooms but they had the necessaries, "this has an old timey feeling, i like it" Akira smiled as he touched the dusty sofa with his finger, 'i need someone to clean this up and manage the mansion' as he thought he remembered the old man and the little girl in the sword shop.
"well i'll check on them tomorrow" he went back to his old house because he didn't want to sleep in a dusty bed.
*Meanwhile*
in the HQ some people were dissatisfied with Akira's behavior while others accepted it wholeheartedly, after he left the place was starting to get back to its normal functioning but then there was a call directed towards McCoy, who was irritated.
"what is it" He said when he allowed the call in, "my base got destroyed just a little bit ago" he noticed that Bofoi went quiet after that, "you are saying its Akira" McCoy massaged his temples, "i am sure of it".
"what do you expect me to do then?" he waited for an answer but he only got silence, then the line was cutoff, 'looks like he will act by himself' McCoy then looked up and sighed.
*the next day*
Akira woke up refreshed and went outside for a jog as a way to relax, he then saw that a person was wearing a police outfit was on top of cartons and trash, at a closer look Akira noticed that in his hand he was holding a radio and muttering something while being unconscious.
Akira scratched his head and put on a mask then walked closely to the man just to see that his bones were almost all broken, he touched him and reverted time until his bones were intact but he was still hurt 'i don't want people to think i got healing powers' he then grabbed him and went to the hospital with his time powers he got there in an instant.
as he went through the door he called a nurse and told him that the officer needed urgent treatment, he then passed him and was told to wait for a bit, Akira didn't mind because he had all the time in his hands.
then after he waited for a bit a doctor came out of the room that the officer was put in "he is safe and conscious we only hand to bandage his wounds, its surprising that he didn't break his bones from the hit and traces on his body", Akira had a blank look as if it wasn't related to him so he only shrugged and went inside the room.
he saw that the officer was looking at the ceiling and in his thoughts so he coughed.
hearing the cough the officer turned around to see Akira and he said "excuse me, but who are you?"
"me? i'm the one who saved you, anyways i came just to check on you, its a miracle that you lived after what happened to you" Akira said with a raised eyebrow.
the officer was surprised and said with tears in his eyes "thank you for saving me, if it wasn't for you i would have been crippled if not dead, here is my number if you need anything please call me" the officer was unconscious when Akira used his powers so he thought that Akira was a normal human.
Akira seeing the look on his face didn't bother to deny him so he exchanged numbers but he still said "i am called Godspeed if you are curious" he then used his power to disappear and leave the shocked man alone to rest.
He then walked around and found himself in the place where he bought his practice sword, as he entered he found out that it was as empty as it was, but there wasn't any thugs in front of the store this time.
So he walked and heard a bell when he entered and saw a little girl coming to welcome him, "hello mister, what are you interested in?" she said with a smile.
He then ruffled her hair and said "where is your old man?".
She slid away from his hand as she didn't recognize him and said "my grandpa is resting inside"
"Can you ask him if i can enter for a talk?" Akira said with a kind smile.
"Ok" she then skipped and went inside the room, after a while he heard an old voice saying "you can enter".
He did as he heard and opened the door to see an old man laying in bed and he looks like he almost reached his end of time.
"what do you want to talk about?" he said with tiredness in his voice.
"Can you tell the little girl to leave for a bit"
the old man nodded and said "let adults talk and go outside for a bit" he told her but she looked a while at Akira before she left slowly.
"Well we are alone what do you want and who are you?"
"You don't the person who removed the thugs from your front door" Akira said with a smile
The old man threw a glance at his face then said "so it is you, now the main question"
"I want to make you my butler" Akira said with a straight face but in his head 'i sounded like im from the medieval times'.
The old man was weirded out "what makes you think that i am fit for the job"
"You are old and experienced" Akira said as he didn't really think about it.
"i am bedridden and you want me to work somehow, i don't think playing pranks on old people is something with power should do" the old man closed his eyes and went quiet.
"i can make you younger" Akira didn't mind that much lately 'i have no reason to hide my powers at first i was scared to show it from fear of people killing me but now I'm powerful enough and I'm planning to go independent from the association'.
The old man was about to shout at Akira to tell him to leave but then he saw the serious look on his face so he said "can you demonstrate?".
"Sure" he then activated reverse time on the old man's body and his hair turned from snow white to darkish grey and his wrinkles got smoothened out, the muscles on his body went back to his prime.
The old man was surprised and stood up after Akira removed his hand and he started punching the air.
"i'm back to when i was 40 years old" the old man
"So will you work for me Bruce?" Akira said.
"Of course, you can allow me to live my life until i see my granddaughter grow, for that im forever grateful" Bruce said while nodding.
"Well call Cindy you will live with me in the mansion, and i will give you money to manage it and hire servants to clean and cook, this is the address when you are ready to leave" Akira stretched and said.
Going outside he saw Cindy looking at him so he smiled and left to continue his jog.
