Before the four could even attack, the Guardian's ribcage extended out and pieced towards them.
Since she knew that she could not block the attack at all, or else she'd take critical damage, Shiro twisted her body and barely dodged the spike by the skin of her teeth.
As for Yin, she dived into her shadow in order to dodge the ribcage.
Appearing behind the Guardian's shadow, she slammed her hands into his back.
*BOOM!!!!
Releasing a torrent of phoenix fire, a pillar of flames enveloped the Guardian's body.
"Weak flames." The Guardians scoffed as his spine stabbed towards Yin.
Seeing this, Estrella flicked her arm, forcefully bringing Yin into her realm and stopped the spine from damaging her.
Just as this happened, Nan Tian arrived in front of the Guardian.
So to all of you saying i'm behind in my on schedule, yes i am but not to the point you think. For the good first half of this year, i was releasing 1 chap per day which are 2.4k in length. Some times 2 if i could. (after the first half of the year i changed it to two chaps of 1.5k avg size to make manage it easier.) This was during uni. Around Nov to christmas, i was doing exams so sometimes i had to skip out on releasing chaps. I have no stock because I'm squeezing out time to write. I've been writing for a year and it does get tiring but I'm still writing. As for you saying it's in my contract, no it's not. On my contract i stated that ill write 7 chaps per week not 14 so even if i write 1 per day, i don't breach it. I'm bad at writing, yes. I'm not on the level of professionals since this is my first proper book where I'm developing my writing style. My first was a fanfic so there's no need to world build but I'm trying. I'm not gonna say you should try writing yourself because it's easier for others and hard for some.
I did say that I'll TRY to make 3 chaps to compensate but i never guaranteed it. When i did guarantee it a while ago, i delivered on my promise. Plus, after writing over a million words for this story, i still need to take a moment to think about how I'm going to continue with this. I have notes and plans about the entire book but new ideas are born everyday and sometimes, i need a moment to think about how i should link it together into a coherent story. Old ideas are scrapped while new ones are added and it's changing everyday. I have my own life too and maybe spending the entire day in my room writing without interacting with my family isn't my favourite choice. My writing varies in speed depending on my motivation. Sometimes it can be as quick as 40 mins while others take 2 to 4 hours to write a simple 1.5k chap.
