285 AC, Tyrosh…
This day was a memorable day for the people of Tyrosh as the white and red flames burned throughout the city. A man who became famous and a head figure for religion had come to their city just a few days ago and the city was already changing politically and religiously.
The Prophet started with the political system of Tyrosh and deposed the previous Archon of Tyrosh and put a believer instead of him. This change was welcomed by nearly all of the people in the city as the previous Archon was known as a corrupted man and had dealings with the cartels of Tyrosh. People loved the new Archon as he was a man who made charity works in the city before his rise as the Archon.
However, the changes the Prophet was not limited just to this as he did convert the people who were one of the major influential figures in the city, the priests of Trios. These people and their followers compromised nearly forty per cent of the city's population and their conversion to the Prophet's lead was welcomed warmly by the Prophet's people.
However, the change of the religious balance in the city caused great atrocities in the city by people who were known as red priests and their followers. It was rumoured that they hunted, raped, butchered and burned believers at the same night but it was never confirmed. Nevertheless, the Prophet answered this with doing the same thing but his purpose was to cleanse the souls of those sinners and the people of Tyrosh has supported his cause by helping the holy guards of the temple. The souls of the elderly, young and unborn were cleansed from their sins with the assistance of Tyroshi people.
And today, Gerold was leaving the city with a great parade throughout the cities. Even the High Septon of the Seven was not loved this much. However, among this cheering woman and man, an elderly woman was looking with hatred in her eyes towards the Prophet. She was holding a kitchen knife in her hand.
While the Prophet was passing in front of the old woman, she dashed forward intending to stab him but her intentions were cut loose as the holy guards restrained her before she could do what she had intended.
The woman began to curse the Prophet and those who held her. Her words were grazing the ears of onlookers. The Prophet stopped his horse and descended from it with the grace of kings. He stopped before the woman and listened to her while she cursed the Prophet's all ancestors.
Soon, the woman stopped cursing and sent glares that could kill the Prophet.
"Speak, woman! Why did you attack His Holiness?!" One of the holy guards slapped the woman's face and yelled.
"Demon spawns! You killed my daughter! She was with child, an unborn innocent child!" The woman wept as he yelled out all her grievances, "She was my only child, why… Why did you have to kill her!! Was it because she went with her husband to the red temple just once? Or was it because she refused to believe your fool lies!!"
The Prophet looked at the old woman's hateful eyes for a while then turned towards the crowd.
"People of Tyrosh!" The Prophet pointed towards the old woman, "This woman is bewitched by the demon who was worshipped by the sinful red priests. I ask you to judge as people who represent Tyrosh. The fate of this woman shall be decided by the faithful Tyroshi!"
The Prophet nodded his head and the holy guards threw the old woman towards the crowd. The crowd caught her and as soon as they did, the woman's screams rang throughout the streets. However, soon, the screams were suppressed by the angry roars of the crowd.
While all of this was happening, the Prophet and his holy guards continued to move towards the harbour.
…
Gerold was on his way to Lys as there was an increase in skirmishes between the red priests and the believers. In all the free cities of Western Essos, there were clashes between these two forces so because of the danger Gerold decided to return to Lys and plan the retribution for the actions of heretics.
Gerold, currently, was standing on the bow of the ship with Trios beside him. He was smelling the fresh seawater that sprinkled on his face as the ship moved while the crew was cleaning the deck as the sky was clear and the wind was just strong enough to make them reach Lys in a day.
On the other hand, Trios was sipping the Arbor Gold bottle he brought with him from Tyrosh with a huge smile on his face. Trios took one last sip from the battle then extended the bottle towards Gerold, "Hey, why did you let those humans kill that woman?"
Gerold refused to drink and shook his head, "Do I have to save everyone one of them? I'm not their nanny, they need to learn how to obey and bow their head. Besides, that woman was sure to be trouble for us so she needed to die."
Trios took the bottle back and raised an eyebrow, "Suck my third cock! Bullshit, you could have, surely, changed that woman's mind with your powers."
Gerold gave an irritated look and sighed, "I won't use my power for every person I see, only those who are worthy or who have a role to play in my plans shall witness them." Gerold turned his head back to the sea and looked towards the horizon, "Common people are no use in the grand scheme, the use of the sheep will only be throughout the shepherd and only the shepherds shall witness my power and let me guide them as the great shepherd."
"That's nice horseshit, I would have believed if I had been human, hahaha!!" Trios bellowed out and patted Gerold's shoulder.
Gerold harrumphed and turned around to go inside to rest as he was tired and needed to rest.
