Chapitre 3: Chapter 3
*CREAK* *CREAK* *CREAK*
The door was too old, definitely need a new one. I walked along the floor boards, hesitant of them breaking under me. I heard creaking foot steps above me upstairs. I figured my dad was here as well, checking the place out. I ignored it and looked in every old room downstairs before moving up the stairs, hopping over the broken holes and rotten bits. While I was too focused on watching where I stepped I heard a series of foot steps running towards me. I looked up and screamed at the black, shadowy figure running straight at me. I jumped to the side landing on the corner of an old couch, spraining my wrist in the process. I winced in pain and looked up frantically for the intruder but there was no one. No foot steps, no nothing. My heart was beating as fast as a bullet train. I couldn't believe my eyes. Did I really imagine that?
I left the house about an hour ago and ended up just Making myself some tea and changing into some sweats and a loose T-shirt. With my hair up in a messy bun along with a brace for my wrist. I have had an injury like this before so I already have the brace for it. I was walking one day and I tripped over air and landed straight on my left wrist, dislocating it. The tea helped me calm down from that horrifying occurrence. I figured it was just lack of sleep and I had a bad day dream. People get those all the time.....don't they? Just when I was falling asleep I heard the same footsteps I heard earlier in the house in my bedroom across the hallway.
"Hello? Who's there!"
