'What am I going to do... Zeus wants to meet her soon'
I hear his thoughts again, he must have let his guard down and forgotten to block the link.
"I'm here, do not worry. Please, I do not need you worrying, I'm already worrying enough for the both of us," I let out a weak laugh to try to lighten the burden on his shoulders.
I realize he can probably feel how tense I am and he lets out a smile.
"When you woke up earlier, I was unable to tell you a crucial part of why you're stuck here.
Sarina the mate bond is eating away at your health because you've been unconscious for a while.
Do not worry, though!
As long as you don't strain yourself you should be okay, you must spend time with me though, or the mate bond will continue to eat away at your health.
As Lycans we have very fast healing, so this is just a small bump in the road, I promise."
'I remember hearing Alexander talk about it to the doctor, so it's not surprising, but I have to spend time with him?'
"Alexander, wh-,"
He cuts me off with a hearthy laugh that fills the whole room with an icy feeling
"I heard your thoughts the first time, Agápi Mou.
Why do you dislike me so much?"
His voice was angry and snappy, a complete turnaround from before.
Before I even had the chance to react, the doctor comes in, seeing that I've woken up.
"Sarina, I'm pretty sure Alexander has filled you in on the big picture, now I'm going to give you the major details.
First, as you already know, Alexander is your mate and because your mate bond is hurting you, you need to be around each other as much as possible.
Is there any problem?"
"Absolutely not," I let out after listening to his bland voice go on.
"Great, next I'll inform you of your injuries. You have a strained shoulder, and your muscles are still very weak from being stationary for so long. You have a scar on your arm from your fall.
That's about it, I hope to see you up and around soon."
He stops talking and immediately walks out.
I then realize that Alexander has layed on the bed next to me, his long legs splayed out and tangled with mine, and he's playing with my hair.
"I don't like him," I roll my eyes dramatically.
"He's extremely boring," is Alexander's reply, pretty much reading my thoughts-
WAIT
"Did you read my thoughts again, Alexander?!"
"No, no, Agápi Mou, it's just my opinion. You've already put up a mental block, so I only hear what you choose to let me hear."
*I really like the way my name sounds from her voice... and her hair is soft. She's so intensely beautiful, what'd I ever do to deserve such a goddess.*
That sounded forced, but nobody has ever said anything like that about me to my face.
"Hey Alexander.... I heard that...", a mischievous smirk appears on his face, contradicting the blush on mine.
•SLAM•
"What in the world, Alexander, did you hear that?"
"Hear what, Sarina...?" He replied confusedly.
"Alex that sound was deafening, how could you not hear it?"
It was getting closer, the noise was becoming louder and louder, suddenly the door to the room blast open with a burst of light and I sprang to my feet, surprisingly comfortably.
"Sarina, get behind me. I don't know what you see or hear, but I can sense it's presence."
It lunges towards Alexander, the light as sharp as a blade.
"ALEXANDER!" I shout, pulling my powers from the depths of hell, ripping the light into the darkness of my realm.

Once I've calmed down I turn towards Alexander. He looks slightly shocked, but he's looking at me with such surprise that I don't even realize.
I rush towards him, engulfing him in a hug and making sure he is okay.
Before I could make sure Alexander was okay, a tough voice, full of power, radiates from the walls of the room.
"Not so fast my children..."
