Chapitre 89: Hope

Getting through the last month of school before Christmas break was awful but comparing this to last year when Ivy was stuck at the Mayo Clinic largely unconscious it was a vast improvement. It didn't help that she was nervous about meeting Dr. Donohue the entire time though.

But she had to face her fears about being a lab rat and do it. Otherwise she might be throwing away her only chance to be normal.

College acceptance letters would be coming out in March. Getting everything sorted by then didn't seem likely. She would have to pick a school as if she was going to actually be able to handle it and pray Carson got things figured out before the school year started.

Most universities' fall semesters seemed to start in either late August or early September. That still gave them time. She had to believe he would be able to come through for her but it seemed too good to be true.
