Ivy's Thanksgiving break wasn't the slightest bit restful. She struggled to get all of her homework done but couldn't get a hold of Carson to get together to work on it. He had gone radio silent.
"Care to explain why you didn't answer your phone all week?" she asked tetchily on Monday morning. She had been worried about him; he was usually better about replying than that.
He smiled a bit sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry about that. The first half of the week was spent getting all my homework done and I was working on trying to draw up plans to build a miniature EEG after that."
Ivy raised an eyebrow. Did this have something to do with trying to turn her telepathy off? What happened to the hearing aid idea?
"A miniature EEG?"
Carson nodded excitedly. "Yeah! I have so much to tell you. We might actually be able to fix your problem!"
