"Wake up! Aunt Vivian said breakfast would be ready soon and we need to brush up." Blinding light caused him to turn over under his blanket. Stella was standing over a grumbling Yohan, trying her best to wake him.
"Huaahhh!" Yohan yawned while being shook violently. After he yawned Stella repeated once more and headed towards the bathroom. Yohan shook his head, he needed to find out just what happened last night, he had rightly guessed it was a new dojutsu that he had acquired but not one he would immediately recognize. He tried to recall the feeling given by hose pairs of eyes and stared hard at a wall, after a few moments he saw through the walls, as well being able to pick up a few nimble footsteps from downstairs. His mother was busily preparing breakfast, walking to and from the kitchen and dining room. Yohan had expected this to be the power of the byakugan, however it didn't have the enhanced hearing capabilities as when his was activated. He dug very hard into his memories of watching naruto, yet all that yielded was the lingering dissatisfaction of forgetfulness.
After breakfast, he decided to forget that for now and start trying to applying the same exercises for wind to water. He did so with some degree of success, but felt it was still lacking. Afterwards he tried a few other things to shape water before an idea popped into his mind; Rasengan. It was the highest form of shape transformation and its exercises and replication would most likely help his ninjutsu to reach a staggering level.
He went out to buy rubber balls and balloons with his pocket money. He got started straight away with his clones and byakugan. He sped through the water balloon and rubber ball exercises. At the kekkei mora level, his byakugan could not only see the movement of chakra but the density clearly, so while monitoring the movement of chakra, he was able to evenly shape the ball of chakra in his hand while making it spiral. He picked up quickly, only a couple of days for him to pull off the A-rank jutsu.
Inspired by what he had learned, realizations flooding into his mind. He wanted to try a few other jutsus. So he appeared in the forest to test things out.
"Hmm, the [Water Release: Water Dragon jutsu] seems to be displaying more destructive power than usual, perhaps imagining it as a towering vortex of water seems to be on the right path." Likewise his comprehensions behind the techniques grew and his jutsus have became much more formidable, with more practice he would be able to crush multiple large boulders with just C-rank jutsus which would then rival Advanced tier magic. The destructive power of spell tiers and their equivalent in jutsus, which were meant for offense, at their best can be described with the following feats:
_____________________________________________________________
Low tier (N/A - rank) - Able to break large branches of a pine tree.
Intermediate tier (E - rank) - Able to smash half a meter (1.6ft) thick concrete wall.
Advanced tier (D - rank) - Able to demolish a concrete house.
Grand tier (C - rank) - Able to destroy a reinforced concrete with steel house.
Epic tier (B - rank) - Able to crack a diamond surface.
Heroic tier (A - rank) - Able to shatter a diamond surface into granules.
Legendary tier (S - rank) - Able to flatten a city out of existence (see Pain destroying Konoha).
_____________________________________________________________
Note: This list doesn't include spells and jutsus that transcend tiers such as [Lightning Release: Chakra mode], a b-rank jutsu that was able to withstand the s-rank jutsu [Wind Release: Rasenshuriken] despite the two rank and element disadvantage.
He went in deeper into the forest. He had found many live targets, leaving a trail of decimated monsters on his path. He then heard some fighting nearby. He went to investigate the source and found it was a middle-aged man and three girls, who all looked the same about his age, facing off a couple of dire frenzy bears which were b-ranked monsters. They were actually all elves however their ears weren't elongated like princess Sylvie or those in Hakono. He wondered why they were here so deep inside the forest.
"Get ready girls, I'll distract them while you all fire off your spells at them." Air began to gather at his heels as he sped to the front of the bears. The girls got a safe distance next to some trees and began firing spells. The bears had hard and durable hides and heavy attacks, but were slow due to their large frames. The middle-aged elf got within 5 meters (16.4 ft) of the bears and fired off some wind spells, they were all intermediate spells. The 3 elvish girls were firing off one low tier spell after another although not as frequent as the elvish man. The bears became angry and their paws thrashed around creating large craters and knocking down trees. The man skillfully dodged, however his face became paler and his pace slowed as the battle progressed. He was clutching onto his arm, blood seemed to flow, dyeing both his hand and clothes. 'It seems he was injured before the battle.' Yohan thought since he didn't see him get hit during the fight.
One bear was covered in bruises, while the other had a few slight injuries. However, the man knew he couldn't finish them off since his condition became worse by the minute. "Arwen, Ayne, Acia. Run! I'll hold them off, flee that way, the city should be near so you might be able to find some patrol mages to help you." Finally the man couldn't escape the impact and was blown back, hitting a tree trunk, the bark being blown off. The girls were scared stiff and watched helplessly.
One of the bears arrived before the man and raised itself on its hind legs. It was about to strike, when a shadow came and decapitated it, it's lumbering body which stood about 6 meters (19.7ft) fell towards earth loudly thumped signaling a moment of silence.
"It seems you are in a bit of a bind, let me help you with that." A childish voice said. The source came from a child no less than 10 covered in a dangerously sharp chakra, sparks flying off with three fingers extended on his right hand. It was none other than Yohan, his innocent smile greatly contrasting with his recent feat. The elvish girls and man looked on their savior feeling relieved, weary and stunned with his timely appearance. Then a large looming shadow stood over him, with red in it's eyes and two upraised paws. They all wanted to say watch out, but it was too late. Contrary to the their expectations however, the shadow was likewise disposed just as swiftly. The saved elves just couldn't wrap their head around what just happened, it all felt too surreal.
"Well that's the other bear, I heard you were planning to go Hakono. If you wish I can take you there." He said casually. The feeling of remorse from killing monsters had become negligible due to more than two years of slaying.
I'm not racist, I'm not saying all elves look the same, I'll explain their resemblances in the next chapter. Also sorry again for the infrequent and inconsistent releases. It's been three weeks and I feel really guilty for not giving any update on what is happening with the novel chapters. So I ask for all of you eager readers to be patient with me.
