I gave her a look and said, "Why is that?"
"Don't call me sister again."
"I was kidding, Harini," I said laughing.
She hit my head and said, "It wasn't funny at all."
"So, why did you run off from the hospital?" she added.
"I didn't want her to know about my mother that early," I sighed.
"She had a hard time these weeks lying on the bed without any expectations of her seeing the morning," I said.
I kept my palm on the bench and said, "I can't see tears on her face anymore."
She put her palm on mine and smiled, "And I can't see you crying."
"You don't hesitate to flirt with me anytime," I said, looking at her.
She stood and asked me to come home as it was 6:45 p.m.
I looked up at her and said, "See the sunset!"
She looked behind and asked me what it's hidden in that as it is just an as usual sunset.
"Everything cannot be said, and sometimes, it's better to shut my mouth in front of you," I said, walking to home.
"Wait!" she was trying to catch up with me and said, "Yes, the sunset is relieving the pain as the waves are moving away like sadness."
I ignored, and she requested me to walk along with her but, I snubbed her with a smile as she was looking cute requesting me. She was living with me from the past week as I was feeling lonely. When she came up with her decision, I gave it a thought for a moment but, later, I saw a sparkle on her face and a smile that could take ones everything when I said yes. We shared the bed alternatively as I don't want anyone to step into my mom's bed other than Prachi.
As I was on the sofa watching TV, I got a call from the publicist. He claimed that he wants me to visit the very near book store to find my bookselling across the country tremendously. I thanked him for struggling with me for this job to be done. There was a press conference the next day about the book, and he requested me to get ready with the answers. Later on, we had a conversation regarding the book, and I hung up greeting him.
I was very happy as I was blushing all by myself.
"Prachi, we did it," I smiled.
"What happened to your face? You're looking ugly while smiling," she taunted as she walked towards me from the kitchen.
"Haha! Funny," I said, glaring.
She sat beside me relaxing on the sofa, "What is making you smile, by the way?" she asked.
I moved to her bending and explained, "My book was released yesterday."
"Oh Congratulations, Writer!" she greeted.
We shook hands, and I thanked her. I picked up my phone and dialed Prachi's number.
"Am I the first one to hear this?" she asked, smiling.
I sighed and said, "Unfortunately, yes!"
"Omg!" she screamed.
As I was asking to keep her mouth shut, Prachi was on the line.
"Hello! Hello! Prachi," I repeated.
"What's that noise? Where are you?" Prachi asked.
"Woah! I'm the first. Yeah!" she said while dancing.
"It's nothing."
"Stop it, Harini. Go to your bedroom!" I shouted.
She lowered her brows and said, "You could've said quietly," she left.
"Hello, Darling!" I said, smiling.
"Where are you?" Prachi asked.
"I'm at my home. Where I will be."
"What's Harini doing at your home?" she questioned.
"Ah! She gave me moral support in yours and mom's absence."
"Now, she is just like me without parents. So, I accepted her request," I clarified.
"Doesn't she have a home?"
"I don't know."
"Now, I'm here with you."
"Tell her to leave the house," she added.
"Nothing will happen, Prachi."
"But"
As I was listening to her words, Harini took my phone unexpectedly from the backside.
"Prachi, you know what? His book is published."
I grabbed her hand sitting on the sofa; pulled her close and said, "Harini, give it to me."
She moved her away from me and talking to her continuously.
"Leave my hand, Ragh."
"First, give me my mobile, Stupid."
"Fine!" she said as she returned my phone.
As I held my phone on ears, I found out that she hanged up the call already. I called her again but, her mother lifted the call instead. She told me that Prachi slept.
"Okay, Aunt. Tell her that I'll come tomorrow morning," I said and hanged up.
I was in a dilemma about how she could sleep in just a few seconds. The dinner was ready, and Harini asked me to get ready for the meal she made.
"What did you cook?" I asked walking towards the kitchen.
When I stepped into the kitchen, I found Harini on the floor.
"Harini!" I screamed.
