Hisoka's eyes squinted and his lips formed a smirk before disappearing from his spot and appearing in front of Suna. Suna's eyes widened but was soon replaced with delight as she pretended to be surprised and jumped, perfectly evading.Hisoka licked his cards and gave Suna a sharp look.
"I want to play a game"
Suna sighed and rolled her eyes before reverting to her bubbly self.
"Oh dear, I must refuse. I don't have a strong physique so if you will excuse me--" she started with a smile and was about to walk off when her eyes caught the sight 10 cards directed to her. In a swift move, she ducked and caught each of the cards with one of her toes.
"My, you're such a rude one" She exclaimed and stood up before crumpling the cards. Hisoka's eyes were somehow showing delight, knowing that each of those cards is infused with nen making it difficult to break, but was as soft as butter when Suna handled it.
Not leaving out any openings for Suna to escape, Hisoka propelled at her in high speed and struck with his cards and his fist. Suna looked scared and confused, but in reality, she has been perfectly dodging each of his attacks.
"Please stop! Oh dear, I might get hurt!" Suna yelled amidst the blows Hisoka kept directing at her.
"Hurt?" Hisoka scoffed and smirked "Don't make me laugh" Right after he said that, he did a quick floor sweep in an attempt to get Suna to lose balance and an opening for him to strike.
As fast as Hisoka dodged, Suna played to trip and fall over him. Once her arms were almost draped around Hisoka's shoulder, she concentrated her nen on her shoulder and as it almost hit Hisoka, he used his Bungee Gum and jumped to the side. Suna hit the tree and created a loud boom. Even Killua was shocked in a way of hearing how loud the impact was. Suna's number and the one she got from Killua fell and Hisoka picked it up.
"Oh dear! Killua? Honey? It hurts! What should I do?" Suna said and pretended to be in pain as she fell on her knees. Hisoka still amused, chuckled and smiled at Suna before vanishing from their sight. "I'll settle with these for now but this won't be the last time we meet Akisuna, or should I say, Lilith?"
Suna would have been ready to go all out and kill Hisoka but the love of her life must not know about her powers. She must hide, to stay by his side. That is why she let him go with her numbers.
Killua was snapped back to reality hearing Suna's yell and grabbed her shoes before jumping down to where they were sparring. "W-What happened?" He pretended that he didn't know, nor he didn't see what she did, but Killua's head was flooded with questions he wanted to ask the girl.
As Killua went down to where she was, Suna crushed her arm in order t to bruise it. "I don't know dearest! That Hisoka just came attacking me, he was so rude. If only I can smack some sense into that fool. But it hurts sweetie." Suna exclaimed while still pretending to wince in pain.
He didn't want to admit, but there's a part of him that's scared and also interested in this unknown girl. Killua had a feeling that Suna's hiding her true strength, but what he wanted to know is why? Is there any reason for her to hide these things about her? Killua watched Suna rip the sleeves of her dress, and revealed a large bruise on her shoulder. He was surprised and had a lot of doubts again.
'How in the world did she have this large bruise?' Killua asked himself 'Wait, don't tell me she did it to herself on purpose?' his eyes squinted as he examined Suna's injury.
"Honey? Can you get me my bag? If it's okay deary" Suna asked a favor and Killua was still silent but obeyed. 'He's suspecting me. I need to gain back his trust and his fore image of me' Suna said to herself.
She heard a silent creaking of the tree she crashed into earlier. Suna knew it wouldn't be good if they stayed, because if Killua sees how she struck it down, then she wouldn't be so sure if she can hide who she is. Suna stood up and followed Killua.
"Sweet pea! I don't want to be here in this place, can we leave now?" Suna said frantically.
"Why? It's a good spot" Killua asked her, curious as to why the girl suddenly wanted to leave.
"I'm just scared that Hisoka will come back again and attack me my dear" Suna held Killua's hands not minding that it might be embarrassing, or that she's holding the hands of her love. What she is thinking is only to take him far away.
"...okay" Killua answered hearing his heart thump at the touch of Suna's hand and let himself be carried away by the girl. Behind them, came a loud crash. Killua wanted to look but didn't mind since he was thinking both of how warm Suna's hands are and what is she concealing from them.
They arrived in a secluded place behind a bunch of trees and slept for the night. As soon as Killua's eyelids fell, Suna stood up and disappeared from beside him.
"Now. Who should I hunt?"
Suna said with a smirk and disappeared into the darkness.
